My tip is be careful where you go with Maui. He'll block your path and you can't push him out of the way.

I like to clear the night thorns because they respawn regularly. Also, if you get the lucky one, it will throw out a bunch of coins. If you collect all the coins in the time frame allowed, you'll get a chest and that chest can give coins or even furniture or clothing.

My fav cooking tip is using cacao…. Any “sweet” makes candy. Depending on how many you use it raises how much extra energy you get. Make candy with 5 cacao and you get candy that’s over 2000 🥰

The fruit tip was such a gamechanger for me, before this I'd just been doing the recipe as it said and had to eat quite a lot of fruit salad and it felt like a waste. Now just one serving of fruit salad fills my entire yellow bar and it's so easy!

About watering your flowers: you can water any flower to get the memory, not only the dry ones. You can even water flowers placed inside your house and keep watering it until you get the memory so you won't deplead your stamina. Don't know if this is a bug they plan to patch or a feature but I've managed to get a bunch of flower memories this way

Watering flowers placed inside your house has to be bug because it doesn't work for me, i've watered flowers placed inside my house for over 5 hours console version and i got no memory drops, i even used a auto clicker on the PC version and let the game sit for a full 24 hours and i still didn't get any memory drops, and the watering flowers a the last set of memories i need to collect, (Edit) why it doesn't work anymore the devs patched that in Scar's update

You can water any flower, dry or not, over and over again until you get a memory. I believe each type of flower holds different memories so yes, will take a little while.

My tip is make chests to hold ingredients and crafting items. They'll be available to you at stoves or crafting tables wherever you are.

I disagree regarding night thorns. Night thorn removal as far as dreamlight rewards are concerned is either accumulative (number you've removed over a period of time) or a daily task (removing 4 from the daily ones that spawn) . It will take you FOREVER to gain the higher dreamlight rewards for that if you aren't doing it on a daily basis. Plus the thorns don't just throw shards. They also throw coal and seeds. Each are use full especially if you haven't opened all the stalls fully (especially Kristoff's). For the star path all it does is make so that you have to wait a second day to do it. There are already other tasks you have to do that for so it's not that big a deal.

Agree... You can get money & dream shards from removing night thorns & sometimes you'll even get a "golden harvest" of money which will drop a cheat with more money if you pick all the coins up in time. I'm not sure how helpful it really is for the Dreamlight because I have way more Dreamlight than him even though he streams this game & I have a toddler so I'm sure he plays more frequently than I do & I always remove all my night thorns right away when I play

8 coins? Idk, I hate having my inventory full of random seeds, but I guess everyone has different playstyles:) I don't really do dreamlight duties, cause I don't need any dreamlight at the moment

I agree as well. I plant all the seeds I accumulate using a friend to get skill. boosts as well. The scar mission requires rich soil which you can easily get by harvesting your produce, double if you have a high level friendship.

Tip: On the map, if you push the y button on switch/x on steam deck, it opens up a fast travel menu that let's you choose between unlocked realms or wells. And, when traveling back from realms, you reappear where you fast traveled from, not the plaza well. It's a little buggy, freezes on screen like the give windows and memories, but it's so convenient to not have to scroll the map.

A good tip: I removed most of my trees in the forgotten lands and left only 4 in a clump, so all of the wood drops in one consolidated area and is super easy to collect!

I have found the best thing I use for the gold bar is to make candy out of cocoa beans. Can I just say I am a maxed out player and watch you regularly, but think these episodes helping all newbies are amazing and will help them a lot x

About the watering flowers, I don't know if it's a bug or something, but you can water flower that are not dry to get those memories. I actually found out about this on KZbin, I tried it and it worked. But it's been a while since I've done that, so I'm not sure if still works.

Unlock sunlit plateau fast, get your mining buddy, mine the Vitaly crystals, and give them to Ariel and Ursula, that's how I leveled them up to 10 very fast

My tip for the watering of flowers memories is to put all different kinds of flowers inside your home & water them over&over. I did this& I have all the memories for watering flowers... don't wait for the dried out plants.

i always get rid of the night thornes regardless as otherwise it makes my village look messy and as for the finding the chests in furniture mode i dont like doing that as i like running around as otherwise it makes the game boring.

So I have a question on the wood. I’ve heard different things and today have decided to experiment. If you get rid of all your trees in a biome will wood still re spawn in that biome? I really want to clear out the Forgotten Lands but need the wood.

Not if you remove all the trees, leave 4 up and you will still get the daily amount of wood from that biome. Early on I removed every single tree in all biomes and placed 4 small plaza trees(it can be any tree, I chose that one bcs it’s small and doesn’t block your sight) for the biome-wood. I’ve changed the trees as I’ve decorated more biomes but generally still only keep 4, to get the wood :)

You will run out of coal sooo fast if you cook early int he game before oyu unlock kristovs stall upgrade. I would really not waste coal on cooking energy foods until then or you wont have any left for cooking missions. I always ran otu of coal and I never ueven used food for energy

I always regret not making all the characters mine, garden or fish wirh me. I especially find foraging quite hard to gain friendship 😩

I just have my diggers/foragers follow me while I'm mining or planting anyway ;__; They gain a small amount of friendship exp from every activity. It's slow, but I've managed to level them a bit this way! I tend to do it if I'm farming a Path task like "mine X of aquamarine" because the extras the Mining villagers find don't count for the task anyway! ^-^ Of course, I always swap to a Gardener buddy if I'm harvesting, but the planting/watering can be done with any hangout buddy. c:

I wish I knew not to waist moonstones and actually stock up on them. Buy the premium level then do all the duties. DO NOT buy tickets with moonstone, you will earn more doing duties and have enough for all future events. impatient people will buy tickets and burn through their moonstone. It cost alot!
