PS5 currently has the ultimate edition for 30% off. I just bought it and can confirm it just adds everything to your mailbox. You won’t have to start from scratch like I was worried you might have to if you already bought the standard edition.

A couple months after the game came out, I bought the Ultimate edition on the switch. When I was looking through each pack I knew just by paying a little extra that I could get the other two packs in the Ultimate edition. By going back to the e-shop, yeah it doesn't let you buy the other packs if you have the Ultimate edition. The Ultimate version is totally a good buy that I won't regret, not only do you get a ton of moonstones but you get loads of amazing items🥰

I wish I could but on switch we cannot switch version 😭 I wanted to send an email to Nintendo but the website isn't working I'm really frustrated I didn't think that you could buy it on another plateform. So if I buy the game on pc now I will have everything on switch (fournitures etc?) Except for the moonstone ?

This must be new I don't recall the upgraded editions being DLC's, so thanks for sharing, I've been wanting the Ultimate Edition items. They should make DLC's in the future for past star paths or events for Christmas items, Halloween items, etc. for people that weren't able to play at that time or new players that want those items too.

It is worth it if you plan to buy moonstones, though I got the basic game when the game first came out and have only spent them on the star path and nothing else and I have gone up from the starting 8000 up to 15530. So you can already basically play for free, forever with just the basic.

Thank you for this video. I was wanting to upgrade from the regular version to the ultimate on steam, but when I looked it up, sources said you could not upgrade the game =/ but you confirmed you can! Happy I'm not gunna miss out on these items I wanted, but didn't want to spend money on when the game first released just in case I didn't like the game, after almost a year, I think I like it enough to upgrade lol

im pretty sure steams summer sale is going to start in a week or two, if i remember correctly, so ill be looking into the ultimate if it goes on sale! not a big spender with moonstones (yet) but i feel like 20k will last me forever and gives me room to explore the shop if i ever found myself enjoying something in it. is cheaper in the long run + you get a bunch of neat items on top of it! that regal fox is way too cute to pass up on ;)

I had the game on Switch and bought Ultimate Edition on PC for content creation. PC hardly ever crashes like Switch. I play mostly on PC and play the Switch on handheld only. I never looked back.

I did this as soon as I saw the Deluxe edition go on sale. It was a no-brainer. I purchased the Ultimate edition originally. Unfortunately, that means I did not get the best deal on Moonstones (compared to someone who bought Standard and got the discounted Ultimate and Deluxe). I'm a little bummed out I missed out on that opportunity, but it is what it is. These discounted versions are worth it if you have the cash!

The only thing is...PlayStation is not included in the cross-save. You can't buy on PS and then buy on PC and have your game OR purchased items transfer. You can only cross-save from say a PS4 to a PS5. From the website "Unfortunately, due to platform restrictions, PlayStation doesn't support cross-platform play. Therefore, it won't be possible to synchronize your progress from other platforms/consoles with your PlayStation account progress." Also with the moonstones, earned moonstones (such as from chests) will transfer across, but not purchased moonstones. "The free Moonstones you collect in-game will be shareable across all platforms (except on PlayStation consoles). Purchased Moonstones bought with real money are platform-specific. This means players can only spend these platform-specific Moonstones on the related platform. The game, Founder's Pack Edition cosmetic items, purchased items, and items purchased with free or platform-specific Moonstones are cross-save compatible on all platforms, except for PlayStation consoles. The content purchased on PlayStation consoles is available on PlayStation only."

Switch/XBox/Playstation owners beware. You are able to upgrade to the other 2 packs, but only the account you bought the game with, will be able to get the extra stuff. Even if you didn't buy the basic pack, but bought one of the other ones, you still can only get the extra stuff on the account you bought the packs on.

Everything he said about the moonstones is true.....unless you came across a bug this past update that Gameloft didnt do any post patch for. I originally played it on Xbox game pass. I wanted to get the extra moonstones and items, and we dont know much about multiplayer so I bought the ultimate edition on switch because my (ex) bff plays on switch. Before the last update on xbox I made sure I had enough moonstones for the star path. On the switch I still had alot of moonstones. So I bought premium store stuff. And it made me have less than 1000 moonstones on switch. But I still had enough for star path on xbox. Until the update dropped. The update took the amount of moonstones I had on xbox and turned it to the amount I had on switch. So it took away the option of doing premium star path for a while. Took away at least 3000 moonstones. And this was the 1st update that Gameloft didnt do any post update patch to fix any bugs the update brought in. I'm saying all this in detail because i am still very salty about it.

I don't have the money to purchase the best versions of this game. I wish I did though. I got the basic pack because the ultimate version was way too expensive when I got the basic pack. I am sure the amount of moonstones and the gear was worth it. The Nintendo switch does not get the item limit increase and it doesn't allow you to switch between versions of this game. I am glad the y increased the amount of moonstones you get from blue chests. It used to be 10. I wonder if anyone else remembers that. It would take 10 days worth of playing to reach 100 moonstones. That is what it used to be like.

Yeah I hate how my husband bought the ultimate edition, got all these exclusive items and he only played the game for a bit, got me into it and he no longer plays the game and I am way ahead of him. How I upgraded on switch - I bought the game twice First time it was basic then I wanted to upgrade to ultimate. I made a new Nintendo account, bought the game. I deleted my game from the console, logged out of my cloud save and my Nintendo account. Then I loaded the game, logged into my cloud save and I claimed the items

@@audreysamandler sorry my mistake, no I don't have Nintendo online at all, it's just the profile you buy your games through. Even if you have Nintendo online that doesn't affect it as you don't buy it through that if that makes sense. Even if you log out you would still log back into it (the account that has it purchased) after you claim your items in the game and log out of the cloud save

@@audreysamandler basically you don't need to purchase new Nintendo online, you just need a new primary account (make sure it's set a primary account too) and then after you claim your rewards don't forget to exit the cloud save. Afterwards I just deleted the account off my console, logged back into my first primary account and it was all good. I hope I explained it well enough, I'm not good at this

It costs 100 moonstones in star path for 10 tokens and 10 tokens gives you 90 moonstones back, you are losing 10 moonstones per transaction

Technically moonstones cost exactly the same, because you have to consider you *already spent* $30 on early access to the game. By buying the upgrade you're spending the full $80 total, just at separate times, so the moonstones are not a deal in any way. Still incredible items and 20,000 moonstones are great to have though!! I can't wait to upgrade myself!

UGH! Can someone help me? I'm not new to computers (I started out on DOS! Yes. I be old) Running Windows 10. I can't find my cloud! Several times the game wanted me to save to cloud and I tired. Nothing. I don't ever remember using cloud but I must have somewhere? (this is not the only game I have on this laptop and I've been through several laptops over the years) So when the game asks me if I want to save to cloud I say yes (with the warning that it will take me back to the opening screen of the game) but then it does nothing and just does a regular save. This has happened whenever I get something in the mailbox. This laptop is getting old and the thought of it dying, losing the game and possibly having to start the whole thing over makes me crazy! Soooooooo how do I find my cloud? (and if I do....what's my log in and password? 😁 )

I bought the standard on switch because I wasn't sure I'd like it. I then purchased the ultimate version on Steam but now, I can't access my cloud save on the pc version because it keeps saying either credentials are invalid or they are having issues with cloud saves. I did that too. I thought I could purchase an ultimate version from steam and then use the same login info as on the switch. To this day, it tells me that my login is invalid or that they are having problems with the cloud and haven't yet been able to access the standard account I started on switch on the pc. That's why I finally gave up and created a new user on switch and purchased the ultimate edition on there. I had to start over but at least it's working fine. I hope this helps. If you buy the pc version, be careful because you many have to start over. @@mandyyy97

Sorry, I misread your answer. You can't switch from ps 5 to switch, xbox or pc versions. On ps 5 you'll have to start from scratch. Playstation doesn't let you go between different systems@@mandyyy97

This trick you’re talking about won’t work for PlayStation players. There’s no way to access your cloud save on a different platform if you started on PlayStation.
