I like Eric's point about Rohirrim's animation - just because they outsourced it to asian studios, doesn't mean it has to look like anime. For example, the first 3 seasons of the original Teenae Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon from the 80s were animated by Toei, but those episodes didn't look like anime at all.

Couldn’t agree more with you Lea! 👍😀 Zegler has a horrible attitude and continuously brings that to every show she’s involved with. Instead of being grateful for the opportunity that Spielberg provided her with in West Side Story to begin her career she used it as a platform to showcase her soapbox attitude and it got worse with Snow White. When she demanded changes be made to present the Princess in a modern light ripped straight from Twitter headlines. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on that. Totally Agree 👍🏻 I've come to the point where I've stopped watching new Movies /TV shows as I no longer respect the actor/actress. This wokism, ungrateful, entitled generation who think they deserve everything, has grown really old! I did that with music years ago & have never looked back. Just take for example the original TMNT Movie wasn't from Hollywood. It was a indie film. Independent films, also known as indie films, are movies that are produced outside of the major film studio system and distribution framework. They are often made by independent filmmakers with lower budgets than mainstream films, and they prioritize artistic vision and creative expression over commercial appeal. It was by far alot more faithful than any comic film I've seen.

George, please do shorter streams- all I wanted was your take on war of the Rohirrim - had to go to transcript to figure out where, and tbh not much of any thing of interest said and what was said or discussed was forgettable- how much anime have you watched? maybe watch nerd of the rings as he goes through the trailer scene by scene - and articles summarizing the trailer online by other writers give much more than your very brief discussion. I’ve watched your stuff before and agree with you on a lot of Disney recent stuff, (adore Gina Carano) but I disagree with you and think this will be a great movie - btw have you ever watched ghost in the shell? A very early strong female protagonist BUT with strong male characters as well - unlike Ashoka. I think War of the Rohirrim will do well in December.

Hi Fastenyrseatbelt, thank you for taking the time to both watch and share your thoughts. Time is precious and that means a lot. Typically, I do breakdowns like you are describing once the show or film premieres or when I make a video breakdown on my own. As for anime I absolutely love the medium and my favorites span the genre from Vampire Hunter D, Ghost in the Shell, Princess Mononoke and basically everything from Hayao Miyazaki to One Piece by the maestro of great characters and story Eiichiro Oda all the way to Arcane and The blue eyed Samurai. I am always drawn to solid stories with rich lore, great characters in interesting settings. As for War of the Rohirrim - Nothing would please me more then to be wrong. I’ve made several videos praising its coming over the last 2 years. But by what I’ve seen, I’m not hopeful. Not the anime itself but the dialogue which reminds me too much of where Rings went with Galadriel subverting her character and thus the story - that along with the inclusion of the Watcher on the Water which by the scene itself doesn’t look like we were in Moria where it resides in the pool after the damming of the river Sirannon. Now, I will watch it as I shared and if it’s the exact opposite of what the trailer imparted to me and turns out to be a wonderful adaption of Helm Hammerhands story, the fight with Wulf, The retreat to the great Gondorian fortress Hornberg, Helm’s sisters son Frealaf coming in after Hama and Haleth pass and retakes Edoras-then I will be praising the film to the heavens and admit I got it wrong as I’ve done for X-Men 97. @@GeorgeTheGiantSlayer I agree Rings made such a big mess with Galadriel to the point where I barely finished the series and haven’t watched it more than once (I did like the harfoots) but Phillipa boyens is on board here so I also hope that we don’t have too many “easter egg” dialogues included. Did you know young Haleth in Two Towers movie is her son? Anyway, the “watcher” if the same as in LOTR could have been a denizen in the Siriannon River or another underground water source before it was forced into the pool outside the entrance to Moria when the river was dammed up (by orcs or dwarves-unknown). It looks different but, as with Shelob, perhaps an offspring of the watcher or even another evil being created by Melkor. So I hope too that the film lives up to our overwhelming expectations right now. I will even give ROP 2nd season a watch but am not expecting to love it. Take care !
