I would cut out the Biscuit with a Mickey Mouse cutter and then bake it.

Or even after doing it the way she did, like the book said.. cut it in half.. and put it back in the pan to cook middle. Since she had already done it that way. But, definitely would have baked in the oven over anything.

I want to say that the biscuit didn't work because you may have put a lot of batter when cooking it on the cookie cutter, maybe you could've made 2 separate ones but put half the amount of batter??? I've never made biscuits but usually when something is under cooked it's because of the amount of batter

the biscuit dough didn't look like it was firm enough..maybe try adding in a little more flour and rolling it out then cutting it instead of putting the dough in a cookie cutter

I don't understand why the recipe would tell you to fry the biscuits instead of just making them in the oven like the biscuit recipe tells you to?? So weird. But I think you should make yourself another Mickey sandwich with the biscuit instead, and just bake it like normal!! I bet it would taste AWESOME!!!
