Went to Disney World recently with family. These tips are make or break for any trip. We were able to do all the rides in Frontierland, Adventureland, New Orleans, and most in Fantasyland plus got a second boarding group on Tron all in one day! And this was during March break! Just wanted to thank you guys. We were at the parks last week and your tutorials made Genie+ a breeze. We rope dropped all 4 parks and with Genie+, got on every ride we wanted. Some rides multiple times (standby + Genie+).

Universal is way simpler, you dont need to plan as much. I went for 2 days and did pretty much everything (including twice on Hagrid's and Velocicoaster) without express pass and without much strategy, and the park closed early at 6pm the second day. The only main thing to keep in mind is that Hagrid's can have long waits even at early entry/rope drop. If you are going for 1 day and want to do everything, then express pass might be worth it depending on crowds.

It only honors the 120 minute rule for me, not whichever comes first. I’ve tried many times. The next booking time for me doesn’t update after I’ve checked in/gotten in line for the current lightning lane. The whichever comes first doesn’t seem to apply anymore. Next Genie+ video, can you please show us examples of the whichever comes first rules? I’d love to see it. Thanks!

Sooo, I purchased the new tickets-4 days for $99 a day-1 park a day. These do not require a park reservation (I tried creating park reservations with them and system would not allow me). Will I still be able to book my fancy rides/genie+ the day of without a reservation?

Just returned from a week long trip to WDW. G+ now works for having more options without everything filling up until after 8pm. Last year, it was a mess. This year it actually works as needed. Yes, you have to come out of pocket for more $ to mix G+ and ILL, and jump on rope drop and Virtual queues, but we were able to do 6 days with only waiting in line once for Ratatouille. We did Tron and Cosmic Rewind several times too. Yes it’s more costly, but we prioritized attractions and saved by going with less expensive meals and bringing our own snacks. 👍

I’m sure you may have covered this in bits and pieces if not entirely already, but my wife and I are really trying to get some clarity on what exactly we can do regarding Genue plus in park hopping. We have an upcoming trip at the end of August and we are planning on 2 to 3 parks visiting. We seem to have some disagreements on what we are able to do regarding Genie Plus, the times we are allowed to purchase lightning lanes, the rules for purchasing lightning lanes for the afternoon parks. Specifically, Hollywood studios to Epcot to Magic Kingdom. if there is anything you can cover or re-cover between now and the end of August, regarding any of this, we will certainly be watching and we appreciate it. I did this combination of parks when I went for our first day with my family and we missed 2 rides, Expedition Everest (it started raining) and Rockin' Rollercoaster (wasn't ready for a big coaster 😅 and decided to watch the projections on the theater) AND we even went to Boma for Breaskfast at 1045 and walked around the Animal Kingdom Lodge before going back to AK. I was like, yeah, I'm doing something great here. Lol.

My friend booked our Rise LL for am instead of pm and thankfully we were able to change it to 9:15pm at guest relations. Same thing happened with Tron and we were able to change it since it hadn't sold out yet.

I just went on Everest for the first time recently! It was always closed the past few times I went. It was so good my group and I decided to wait the 25 minutes and ride again after using Genie. We waited in line MAYBE 2 minutes, pretty much walked right on for a second time!

Only thing is they if they start allowing guests to prebook wouldn’t that reduce the amount of attractions one could do in a day? The reason I say is right now everyone books there first attraction in the morning. But, they can’t choose another until after 2 hours or once they scanned in. If they start allowing everyone to prebook that is ultimately going to wipe out all the popular attraction. So, long story short not everyone will get opportunities to pick the popular rides this way like they do now.
