If you plan to stay at DLR we definitely recommend this hotel, although Kyle’s favorite is the Disneyland Hotel, as you know 🤣 If you’re staying off-resort, we loved The Anaheim Hotel. So I’ve watched both the Disneyland hotel Vlog and this one. Seems like DLH has better pools, maybe a larger room? Maybe better restaurants (trader sams, tangorera terrace and goofys kitchen) which hotel did you like better for the price? Thank you!

Hi Patrick! Thank you for watching our reviews! Kyle likes the DLH because of the vibe. It feels very Disney. Even though they are building a new tower, everything is pretty much open. He also loves anything tiki, so DLH checks all his boxes. For me, I love the luxury and class of the GC. Upon request, each room comes with robes and slippers, and the DLH doesn't offer that. So that is a big thing for me. I will say that the DLH has the better pools and slides, but since the pool at Paradise Pier is closed for re-imagination, all their guests are using the DLH pool, and it can get crowded. Also, the GC has balcony rooms with spectacular views of DCA. As for the restaurants, you can go to Goofy's kitchen even if you're staying at GC, and vice versa, you can dine at the GC hotel if you're staying at DLH. Keep in touch. Hi Gregory! Thank you for watching! We purchased a standard room with a partial view. We got lucky with our room as a partial view doesn't guarantee a view of the park. Our room number was 5252. It wouldn't hurt to try and request the room number when you check in

Hello when you bought tickets for this hotel, did you purchase park tickets at the same time?

We have annual passes so we made reservations to enter the park. You can purchase tickets and your hotel stay at the same time online and through the phone. Hope that helps! -Z

Can you cut through the resort? I am staying at the Westin Anaheim Resort, right at the corner, and want easy access to the esplanade.

You can walk through the Grand Californian to enter Downtown Disney for access to the Esplanade or to enter California Adventure directly from the hotel if you have a park reservation. Hope this helps!

Hello Frank! We actually did have visitors for dinner at Downtown Disney and had no problem walking them up to our room to give them a tour and a look at the view. Our friends didn’t stay, but they enjoyed coming up! Hope this helps. Cheers!

Do you leave on your last day or after?

Hi, Triwizard100! On our check out day we usually leave our luggage at Bell Services and enjoy the whole day, but yes we do go home eventually on our check out day. The cool thing is your parking is good until 11:59p on your check out day (basically midnight) so you can enjoy the day and leave before midnight without being charged an additional parking fee. Hi Yadira, Not a dumb question at all! The hotel charges $85 for the robe if it's not returned so you saved yourself some money by asking. However, you definitely can keep the slippers as they are complimentary. Kyle and I took ours home to remember our magical time. If you book a stay at the hotel I can promise that you won't regret it. We are seasoned travelers and nothing has compared to this. Hi Elyssa, the robes are complimentary to wear during your stay. We had to request them through the front desk. Leave the robe in the room for check out, but you are welcome to take the slippers home as a free souvenir. I hope that helps . Thank you for watching our video
