Why would you recommend buying the quest at $99 when big box releases today and will be available on shelves for msrp???

NOTE : there are 5 promo cards in the 2 player decks in Ursula's illumineer quest boxset ! The Piglet is a promo. Like the Mulan and others. I say it'S a fair value. 65$US it sold for at my LGS. The secret card in the golden pack ? It has series 5 noted in the bottom. We got a series 5 card dudes ! Just buy one if you like it = the box is worth it! Got it for 89$ canadian+tx (65$US +15% taxes)

A set 5 card and many set 1, 2 and 3 cards. There lies the problem, they can reprint whatever without changing the cards at all. Plus, you're buying a set 4 product only to get previous cards. F that! If this is the direction they're going, it's not gonna go far. Collectors keep the hype afloat.

@@luiscfdsilva it is partly this indeed and partly a collector mindset. They are launching a new "begginer kit" product at the same time, with the 2 starter deck boxes and the troves. So plenty variety. Not everything for everyone! Some want it all and for the right price i wouldnt have passed on it. But for 120$ US? NOPE! unless you got $$$ to spare it's not the best investment. A playset of 4 x Robin hood Champion of Sherwood is more lkike it for that price.

Got in a treasure trove pack a foil ursula, Deceiver of all! And now I got in my first ever full booster box of Inklands , opened in a single pack 2 Ursulas Deceiver of all, one foil! Best scenario! 3 can work vs 4. So I now consider I have a playset of this card. Not gonna buy another. Bought 4 x Robin Hood Hero of Sherwood though. And opened one in th same inklands box as my Ursulas!!!

Overpaying for a boardgame-adjacent product that's produced by a board game company feels like a risk. I'd be surprised if ravensburger doesn't just keep printing these till the next one. I'd predict these go back to MSRP before the end of June. Good luck on the long term hold. Might pay off eventually.

We've all been watching that first chapter booster box - I think it's really going to start seeing some gains in the next week. Also, I wouldn't speculate on Ursula's Quest until next week. There were a lot of big box stores that had product available for a long time. I picked up 5 but could have gotten a lot more.

I think they have a timeframe of 12-18 months with the legal procedures in case the PixelBorn creators refused to cooperate. And then once they are ready maybe they will create an online game... or not. But let's see!

I am thinking of creating my own personnal use testing tool in HTML. Basic old school XHTML, XML, and some script better than javascript. Anyone can build a tool for themselves at home! But as for "soon", I'd say not in months (10+) bnefore it could happen if Disney has the will. But forget the idea of a ladder system in a game for Lorcana for sure : Disney won'T let a competitive online fanmade game ever and probably wouldn't offer it themselves, only "for fun" online multiplayer i bet.

"Diablo is gonna go to $60" is a bold claim for a card that hasn't had it's first major tournament showing yet. I still struggle to believe that the most expensive legendary in the game will continue to be something that dies to baboom

People are already making adjustments in Ruby Amber decks that are making a wave my wife even made her own version of that deck that’s on KZbin floating around and it CRUSHES mega decks it’s wild
