Seeing this series when I was a young father, it hit pretty hard in a good way when I realized that Doofeshmirtz was a good father and always tried his best despite his past. I mean, Orpheus even comes all the way to the underworld to get his wife Eurydice back, and Hades gives him a fair shake of a chance to get her back from death instead of, I don't know, just _killing him_ for even asking.
