Disney: Move It! Shake It! Dance & Play It! Street Party - Mickey Mouse's Birthday, November 18th

In February of 2009 the Magic Kingdom introduced the Move It! Shake It! Celebrate It! Street Party. This new parade party concept combined a series of 5 character filled floats with dancers and loud music that parade from the Town Square parade storage area down Main Street USA to the hub where they form a circle around the entire hub. At that point the parade turns into a street party with everyone invited off the sidewalk and onto the streets where they can party with all the dancers and characters from the floats. This is when the DJ introduces the four special characters that are hidden within each of the other floats and allows them to each host a portion of the party. At the conclusion of the party everyone must return back to the sidewalk as things return to a parade back down Main Street USA to to Town Square where they return to backstage.
In October of 2014 the Move It! Shake It! Celebrate It! Street Party was very subtly upgraded to become the Move It! Shake It! Dance & Play It! Street Party. This new version retains all the elements of the previous event, but now includes an interactive segment at the end where pictures posted to social media with the special event tag are displayed on the screens of the various floats that surround the hub.
