@@ItsMeMattCarterI was quite excited as a teen when episode 1 came out way back.. It was when I got older I realised they were age appropriate for young viewers like myself. That being said, I grew up with the originals in the early 90s. You can tell the difference in quality between the two trilogies. I didn't hate on the prequels era as much as the mental fandom. When Disney obtained the rights they started decent with Force awakens and Rogue one and eventually got fucked into the ground because they didn't have a plan or consistency with the new trilogy. Even Mandalorian started strong but dipped after season 2. Andor was great and can't wait for season 2. They just need to employ decent writers who understand Star Wars. Even Marvel has lost its way after Avengers Endgame.

The only exceptions to this are Clone wars final season, Bad Batch, Rebels and Tales of the Jedi/Empire The animated shows are and always have been the best part of star wars (resistance doesn't count)
