It really amazes me that she can be both an iconic dancer and a mesmerizing pianist. I can hardly balance dance and school! I love to play piano and percussion but sometimes I think if I spend time on anything other than dance and school I’ll never make it as a pro and this is really a calming inspiration to me.

I didn’t expect the Happy Ending finale track from The Little Mermaid to be included in this (I’ve never heard a piano arrangement of it!) and when I heard it I wept immediately 😭😭😭 (TLM means the world to me & has had a tremendous impact on my life, particularly the music. I’ll spare you the super long story about ballet and also trauma but know that that film and its music are a huge part of my own story & are the reason I’m still here & keep going pursuing what I’m truly meant to be doing 🥺🧜🏻‍♀️) Katie this is glorious, truly gorgeous!!! you are truly so gifted with your music arrangement and playing skills! It’s like you compiled my favorite musical moments, songs and instrumental score moments (To Be Fee from Aladdin is another favorite!! ahhhh!!!) into one epic medley! Your musicality & emotion are so evident in your beautiful dancing but I had no clue about these stellar piano chops! Brava!!! If you ever make sheet music to this medley available to purchase I would gladly buy it to be able to play this stunning Disney medley! 🎹

The lion king score is my fav one. Just listening to it makes me want to burst in tears. Amazing how music just transports you back to an exact moment in time and to the exact feelings you were feeling at that moment.
