I collect Barbie, Monster High, Ever After High, Rainbow High, LOL OMG, Na Na Na Surprise, Disney Princess Dolls and so many more! I love fashion dolls and I believe that dolls are the best toys for people to improve empathy and to explore their creativity!

rapunzel’s hair actually comes back in the tv show. even if it hadn’t come back, i still think they’d sell her w/ the long hair since she’s more heavily associated w/ it.

I wish that Tinkerbell 's fairy friends and forgotten Disney princesses such as Elena of Avalor, Megara,Kida, Jane, Giselle and Esmeralda would have been released in this new series with cardboard, they deserve love and promotion too

They won't sell Jane because Disney lost the rights to Tarzan. Giselle is more on a grey area right now due to the likeness issue. However they can sell the animated counterpart of Giselle.

I love the backgrounds in the boxes; so adorable! But I hate that they didn't use it for the whole inside of the box. The random clip-art of the doll on the sides kinda ruins the idea of them being used as backdrops.

They keep giving Ariel the short end of the stick. The girl wore multiple notable dresses in the film plus she has the fantasy aspect with the tail. Come on Disney designers, you want me to come help you? Lol. They did such a good job on the box designs too. I just wished they carried over the center design onto the sides (For example: You can see what I am talking at 6:09 and 7:42.) Anywho you got me looking at Disney dolls. Cosplay/Anime events are probably the only thing stopping me from going over the collector deep end. Lol

i'm just starting into collecting and i couldn't really care less about factory errors unless theyre HUGE, think the rainbow high dolls' messed up eyes. smaller ones can be fixed, like if an OMG doll has a speck of their eye missing, or if there are two left hands (which i can easily overlook! i think its fun and makes them unique)

I’m the same way. My Kia Hart has her nail polish kinda printed on the side of her fingers but you can’t see that unless you look super close and I still love her cause she’s MY limited edition doll and she’s inspired by Mariah Carey so 🥰🤗💕

The cardboard boxes are great. I'm very pleased they're not lightening the skin tones on the Princesses of Color any more, that was a stupid move. There's a series about Rapunzel that explains why her hair is long and blonde again, but I liked it better short and brown!

Please watch Pocahontas all the way through, even if you don't watch it with kiddo. It has a really great message, and I rewatched it recently and felt like it can relate to current issues we are facing right now in our world. It has a really powerful message, not just about taking land.

the megara (hercules) and alice (alice in wonderland) are really cool disney dolls especially since they rarely had dolls, i’d recommend them

As a collector, it definitely worries me a little bit. But I love these dolls and the quality is enough for me to look past this. Especially with the steps they’re taking to eliminate plastic.

I didn't really feel like Pocahontas was glorifying colonization, they made it pretty clear the British were the bad guys of the movie. And Pocahontas was trying to bridge the gap between the two groups and create peace and understanding. The British (other than what's his face that was leading them) end up realizing yeah these people aren't savage and this is their land we made a mistake. I thought it was a really good message and loved the character of Pocahontas :) That's just my take no hate Melissa don't worry lol. The new packaging is actually really cute I bet My Froggy Stuff will do something cool with that. Have you seen the wedding Ariel that came out recently? She's really pretty too.

Same and the first movie was so historically inaccurate. As a I grew up and looked more into the history, I began to dislike the movie’s history. I loved the animation and the characters just hate the story made by Disney

@@tiny0362 OOOO 100% i sooo wish they made the same movie and just set it in a different part of the coast line and used all original but culturally appropriate names and called it something else entirely cuz then it wouldn't actually be an extreamly romanticized version of her story and she would just be a Native American Disney princess and it wouldn't be problematic at all. but because they chose to use Pocahontas' story and really only touch of the "family friendly" parts of her life they can never do anything with the property again and it now just has to sit as a musically spectacular cinematic piece of PROBLEM! the score is SCREAMING for a broadway stage but the absolute bastardization of her story renders it dangerous and offensive to even play with. Good job Disney...

So as a child that grew up adoring the snarky jealous little pixie because I related more to a disney character that was not perfectly sweet, I just feel the need to put my two cents in. I was just so heartbroken when they changed her personality. Also Legend of the Neverbeast is the one redeeming movie from that series because its message is so meaningful and beautiful.

As a kid, I loved pochantas bc my grandma loved native Americans due to her grandmother being native. We had all kinds of tapestries and ornaments which were Native American. I’m glad to see Pochantas looking more native in doll form

I will say as a collector that yes not being able to see the dolls in the box would be a far bigger problem if they weren't Disney store dolls. they have a quality control that surpasses even the top selling doll producers. i literally just bought 8 Ariels off the shelf(I'm turning one into Vanessa and 6 of the others into her sisters) and all 8 are 100% exactly the same. Disney is really good about the dolls all being as perfect as they can be. my issue is the feet I HATE the flat feet. and i get it they r for kids but at the very least Cinderella should have Heels on seeing as her shoes are a HUGE part of her story. id literally take all the flat feet on every other doll they r on if Ariel and Cinderella had heeled feet as it is now its just Ariel so she can get into her fins but Cinders should absolutely have Heeled Glass slippers!

I'm excited to restart my collection with the cardboard boxes as a collector with not much display space. (I also think it will help keep them nice.) For the Rapunzel lore, in the Tangled series basically the magic rocks connected to the Sundrop brought her hair back.

Sadly here in Italy there wouldn't be the possibility to see the dolls anymore since Disney decided to close all the shops here 😭 Wow, I like that draw :D In the Disney Channel series Rapunzel regrow her blonde hair, though at the end of it she returns with the short brown hair, before the wedding. Though I think that the Disney Store is selling more he ones with the long hair because it's more iconic, even if I like more the short ones. Rapunzel never put on shoes, she's always barefooted.

The wedding Repunsal doll by Disney has short brown hair. I'm a big fan of the boxes and all the new art associated with that.

I may be the only girl I know that was never obsessed w/ the Disney Princesses…though I had a major place in my heart for Belle & that’s simply because B&TB was the last movie I remember watching at my Grandparents before they died. UNTIL I saw the Belle & Ariel Style Series dolls in a catalog last Christmas. When I saw them in the store, my family had to drag me away in the same manner they used to from the doll aisle almost 40 years ago. Yes, I was in awe. I couldn’t believe the beautiful modern sparkly fashion they were sporting, I just loved those pants. I haven’t been able to buy them yet, but my Mom gave me a Rapunzel doll a few weeks ago. Until then, I had completely forgotten watching Tangled w/ my son when he was small & how much we loved it. Between that, the doll’s pretty face, dress & the fact no one has given me a doll since 89 Happy Holidays Barbie (as much as I love dolls), Disney has just gained another Princess fan. I actually came to this channel searching for more info about them & now I want all of them. Oh boy 🤣. And oh dear heavens they have fashion packs 🤩😍🥰

I collect Pocahontas, Snow White, and Mulan. These are the princesses I grew up with. Finally got her in the mail (the style series Mulan) and she gorgeous. Love everything about her. I'm saving up for the Disney new fashion packs 😅.

About 17:16 Raps long hair, in series she again have her blond hair, but its more magical, and for most series she have it. But in the end Raps cuts them herself !! But this really quick explain , its complicated haha

I got Ariel with tail and Tatiana last week but still plastic window boxes here in the UK. At least in store, so my Ariels hair is as solid as a rock :( Would love to get it nice and soft.

I redesigned the cardboard box, I put mica or hard plastic on it, to be able to see my doll, I collect them and not all of them are out of the box, I ended up using the plastic that Disney avoided for the box, but that way he could take it out and save it, when want it.😍
