We were at Tusker House 2 weeks ago and the character interactions were the best we have ever had at Disney!! They each came to the table 3 or 4 times and Daisy literally sat with my 9 month old for 10 straight minutes playing peek a boo and making him laugh! Core memory for sure!

That Boma mustard rocks on the chicken nuggets! We used to love the ribs, they used to have a ginger and cinnamon bbq sauce. I've tried to replicate the peanut rice and it is pretty complex. And of course zebra domes are a must to end the meal! Have eaten at Tusker and also enjoyed it, but Boma is by far our favorite!

Subscribed after seeing you on Nate's vlogs! I LOVE Tusker House for breakfast. My favorite there is their overnight oats and I absolutely love their Cape Malay Chicken Curry. With some Joffrey's Tusker House Coffee and POG juice, yum! I need to try Boma next time I'm there!

I’ve never eaten at Tucker House but would automatically choose Boma because I prefer no characters. You seem to be getting really good at the character interactions, however!

I have only ever eaten breakfast at Boma. It was really good. Tusker House has good food too, but trying to not miss any of the characters can be stressful. Less stress, and still good food, Boma wins for me, and you don't need a park ticket to eat there. Bonus!

Boma for me! I’d love for tusker house to offer a non-character. I was glad to see Boma scored slightly higher, I was going to be upset if it didn’t 😂 breakfast and dinner are both good!

Boma, by far! There was a lot you didn't try. The salads are wonderful, and I woulda been trying alllll those soups/stews! Boma has stayed consistently fantastic even through Chef changes. Love AKL, love Boma. Another great review!

I always start with all the soups. I agree about the beef. I agree that Boma is better…much better. My wife was creeped out by Goofy at Tuskegee…he seemed a little too friendly.

Tusker house breakfast was amazing went few years ago right before buffet reopened from pandemic and was still amazing. Was my daughter's first character meal at 2. She ate so much, we went on the safari right after and slept the ENTIRE ride 😅🤦

Boma breakfast is my favorite meal on Disney property. I’ve never tried dinner. Never been to Tusker House either. Thanks for this video. I’ll definitely need to check these both out.

TEAM BOMA for sure!! You also didn’t mention a HUGE flaw of Tusker and that’s the noise level. I enjoy the food but I can’t tolerate the sound.

never ate at Tusker, but I have at Boma a few times. in dec I will be at AKL for a night so thinking Jiko for dinner and Boma for Breakfast

We’ve only been for breakfast at both restaurants but we love it. I will have to give win to Boma. Best bank for your buck and the cast member are Amazing. The chef came out at talked to us regarding my son’s food allergy. Everything was super fresh and the atmosphere was great. My husband had a great character interaction with Donald and Daisy. He proposed to Daisy and started a feud with Donald 😂

Boma is my overall favorite at DW and a must on every trip. Oh, my favorite resort is Jambo House. Tuskegee is ok but food is not as good to me. The soups at Boma are favorites and I star every dinner by taking at least two different ones. The strip loin is wonderful and I have always enjoyed the ribs. Nice review…I wish I was there.

The only time we have eaten at Tusker House is when it was a quick service place. This was way back in the early 2000s. I've never eaten at Boma but I would like to. I also haven't eaten at Saana but I have had the bread service and it was awesome. We are planning on taking some family there in September to try the bread service. I am not big on character meals, so I would go with Boma.

Tusker house mac and cheese is a chefs kiss! My whole family loved it, even my picky eaters who can't ever agree on anything! I agree with you also for Boma soups and stews!

Love Tusker house. Never tried Boma simply because it’s out of the way for us. But it’s on our list for when we stay at AKL

We love both these restaurants, and this video is perfect timing! Just last night we were thinking of our next WDW trip and I said to my husband we should do Boma for us and Tusker House for the kids (since it is a character meal). We will be staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge, which in my opinion is one of the best and Boma is right there❤ Great video! Thanks as always for your honest review 👍

I used to go to Boma when it was $25 a person. Their mulligatawny stew is the best thing I’ve eaten at Disney ever.

Tusker House...you have to realize that you must have a park ticket! That makes this an unfair comparison. Overall, I do think BOMA is one of the best restaurants on property.

Definitely a Tusker House fan. But I love a character meal. 😍 Pretty much most of Disney dining is on the expensive side, so if I'm shelling out more than $50 bucks a person then I REQUIRE table side character visits. 😂

So I’m treating myself to a solo lunch at Tusker House while my boys do the trek. I didn’t want to use other vacation time in character lines for Mickey and friends if they will sign my souvenir at Tusker House. Thanks for all of your videos. I have a number of must try snacks on my list because of you. 😀

Love the reviews, but it seems your “value” calculation didn’t account for the theme park ticket(s) needed to dine at TH. I’d still take Boma anytime. Thanks!
