I really like the All Star resorts. I’m the type of person that doesn’t need all the bells and whistles in my room. The beds are comfy, there’s a bathroom, it’s clean, and there’s a place to get breakfast. That’s all I really need from a hotel room!

Even the least expensive of their resorts are clean, well themed, and have great service. I love going here instead of off property hotels for the same price. Free parking, ground transportation, and Mickey waffles every morning do it for me every time.

I don't see what's so bad about the All Star Resorts. If you've saved up for the trip of a lifetime, of course, don't stay here. But I live in Florida and have an AP. In off season months, All Star Resorts are like $68. We're only there to sleep. It's honestly fine. Not gonna spent $300 for a bed to sleep in

Yeah i'm lucky enough to be able to visit WDW 3-5 times each year and it's definitely because we stay in value resorts. We could go once a year and stay in a preferred resort but we really don't spend much time in the hotel. And we hotel hop anyway so to us, a room is a room. We have a car and can drive over to any resort we want for breakfast or whatnot if that's what's important.

Honestly even if you’re coming from Canada like me and only going 3 days I still wouldn’t spend 300$ unless I saved up for years and wanted to have the experience of a lifetime but even then I rather spend a normal amount for a hotel and have more fun at the parks

19 years ago this was the first resort myself and girlfriend went to as it was in our price range. Today that same girl is my wife and we're heading back to WDW in 3 weeks time with our 3yrs old daughter. Thanks for rekindling our memories of our stay at Broadway. Even though we've stayed at most resorts at WDW some of our best memories are from All Star Resorts. Thank you 😊

I don't understand why people give the All Star resorts such a hard time. Disney is expensive as hell so there's nothing wrong with wanting to save as much money as possible on a hotel room you're only using to sleep in. I get that the resorts can be tacky and bright, but I have no issues every time we stay at the hotel. It's in a great location and usually always the best prices. Only real issue I have is their the last bus stand at the parks so you have to walk further than the more expensive hotels.

I'd rather spend that money on staying longer. It's kind of a waste to spend so much money on a more expensive hotel you aren't even going to be in much.The value resorts are fine. I actually find the theming charming. Also you can always take a bus or a monorail to some of the other hotels and walk around. There's nothing stopping you from doing that. some people are too fussy.

MoonstonePearl21 Exactly! Another good point to mention is that people who live on "off-site" Orlando hotels are even cheaper. But the extra money to stay at an All Stars is worth the money for the free transportation since Disney is rip off for parking prices. I get wanting a full Disney experience but I don't get what's so horrible about the resorts. Glad you agree with wanting to spend the money on something different.

The other thing is to consider is that you CAN get a complimentary shuttle to and from Disney from many of the offsite hotels near Disney. And these hotels also offer complimentary shuttles to Universal, Legoland, SeaWorld, The Holy Land Experience, and to shopping and other locations. So, these properties can be a great deal if you want to see more than just Disneyworld.

I LOVE the All Star Resorts!!! I've stayed at all three and they're all wonderful. They all have their own buses now which is awesome, because years ago you'd have to take ONE bus and it would drop you off at each. They connect to each other which is great if you want to go jogging or something. They're so great and affordable. I wish the cafeterias were a little bigger, but I like each set up because they have shadow box pictures in front of each entrance that house different themes and performers/athletes. I also love how each building on their properties are themed as well! Just like POP Century!! I'm surprised you never visited them, but I'm glad you got to see them!

Aurora Cody Oh that's great that each All Star has its own bus now. We usually stay at Pop since it has its own dedicated bus but we might have to try the All Stars now!

We usually do a big group trip every Aug and we stay in POP or one of the All-Stars. They're reasonably priced and easily accommodate our group. When the hubby and I go alone, we stay at the deluxe resorts. You def get what you pay for but I feel like there are no bad rooms at Disney

We really Enjoyed the Bakery Cases at All Star Sports and Music in 2017. Made great Midday Snacks and Late Night Desserts. Beer/Wine Selection is Amazing too. Pool Bars were Very good as well.

Great video as always. Just wanted to add, that I have stayed a week at Animal Kingdom suites, to the Polynesian resort, to Caribbean Beach, to Saratoga Springs, and countless All Star Resorts over the years. I never feel like I'm downgraded by staying at an All Star, and while it's great to stay at moderates and deluxes, I honestly never feel like I'm missing out on anything when I stay at All Star resorts, and I look forward to staying there just as I do any of the more expensive resorts. It always feels awesome to check into ANY Disney resort, and always sad when I leave. The memories, experience and fun is up to you, and what you make of it.

You essentially have to weigh the value of staying on Disney property and what you can get for the same price slightly off property especially with the value resorts. The theming and pools and food are better at the comparable "value" Universal Resorts. The Little Mermaid section of Art of animation and the marginal increase for Coronado Springs or POR have better theming, pools, food and aren't as crazy boisterous loud.

All Star Music holds a sweet place in my heart. It's very nostalgic. It's the hotel I stayed in my first tripe when I was little. It's also perfect for me since I'm into music.

That was a harmonica covering the staircase at Country Fair. The All Star Resorts fit my teacher aide salary. Especially if I plan on going to the parks. I just can't see paying all that money for a hotel room just to hold my toothbrush. I was very lucky last year to get a very good deal for Labor Day at the Caribbean. My daughter and I fell in love with it!!! We did one park day and then the resort and Disney Springs. It was great! I'd like to to the moderate and higher resorts BUT no parks. I'd like to just enjoy staying there and taking advantage of the other things Disney has to offer.

I always stay at the All Star Music resort when I vacation at Disney World. The moderates may have more themeing but not worth it for me. I spend most of my time at the parks so the value resorts are all I need. Thanks for your vlogs !

We just got back from All-Star Movies and our wing was closer to the Music building so we used their food court and rode their buses a couple of times. I think the All-Stars are a 'you get what you pay for' kind of thing. We knew going into it that they weren't going to be the fanciest hotel, but the last time we were at Disney we were in our room to sleep and that was it. If you don't plan on having an off day during your trip I don't see the point paying extra for a nicer hotel. They were clean, the food court was good, my kids loved the pool, and we had a little extra spending money. We would stay at one again.

We've always stayed at all stars every time we go and we really like it. Since we don't spend a lot of time at the resort, there's no point in spending all that money if you're not gonna be there to enjoy the amenities. We've stayed at Music and Movies and Movies will always be our go to. Only time we haven't stayed at an all stars was when we went for my sweet 16 and was upgraded from Pop Century to the cabins at wilderness campground. They were really nice but the bus system there isn't the greatest.

We go to Disney for the parks and do not hang out at our resort, except to sleep. We are staying at All Star Music in November for $113 a night. Can't beat that price. All the money we are saving at the value resort, we are taking tours and eating wherever we desire. Thanks Disney.

The all star resorts are similar in layout, but themed to the name. when we went to Disney world. me and my family stayed at all star sports. And everything was themed to sports. big props, things around the pool, gift shop, arcade, check in area, etc. The food changes daily. The food also changes from breakfast, lunch, and dinner. everything is the cafeteria is based on what meal plan you have. I loved how the bus transportation was efficient and able to go anywhere on Disney property.

When I was a kid in the early 00’s we made two trips to Disney- 1st time we stayed at the Dolphin which was at the time one of the best hotels available, and the 2nd time at All Star Music....and without a doubt All Star to me as a kid was beyond amazing. The food hall, gift shop, all the themed pools! To any parent reading, don’t worry about having an ‘amazing’ hotel- you’re going to be spending like 2% of your day at the hotel- and its going to be magical for your kids 🥰

I don't really see why some people make a big deal about how the value resorts aren't as nice as the other ones. They are value resorts. They are going to be cheaper, but what you get is still nice. You still get good Disney quality in these hotels. Besides, it's a lot smarter to go with these hotels. Why waste so much money at a really expensive hotel that you aren't even going to stay in a lot, when you can use that money to stay longer? The people who complain about these resorts are too fussy. They're still really nice.

One thing about the All Star Music resort, they refurbished one entire section to combine 2 rooms into a "family suite" which is supposed to have 2 baths, a kitchenette, lounge area with pull out sofa... pretty nice price for a family that wants to spend more time in the parks and less time in the hotel and still have a bit of privacy between adults and kids later. Thanks for sharing, Tim! You'll like the All Stars Movie resort, it's my fave!

Stayed there as a kid with my family in the 90s. It looks very much the same! We stayed in a room around the back by the pond and trees, and there were frogs everywhere! All over the sidewalks and around and on the door to the room. I remember my whole family trying to sprint into the room to not let frogs in.

Please keep up these Resort Reviews, they bring back so many great memories for the Mrs and myself. Once upon a time the Mrs and myself stayed at poly, next time we stayed at this resort, All Stars Music, then we stayed at Pop Century as it was new at the time. Our favorite was Pop Century as it had more bang for the buck. Sad to say we will never be able to go again but thanks to Tim and Jen we are able to fantasize and remember the great times we once had. Thanks Tim and Jen, you 2 are the highlite of our evenings!

I had the opportunity to stay at two all stars a few months ago and given their reputation I was expecting a fleabag motel overrun with cheerleaders and brazillian tour groups. I was actually pleasantly surprised that while the room was a bit worn, it was perfectly adequate and acceptable. One thing I noticed was the parking was horrible at both all stars (for those of you with cars). I ended up coming back to my room around midnight or later each night and there was never any parking. I'd always end up parking near the lobby and walking each night. Other than that, though, it's definitely worth considering.

I gave myself a splurge spur of moment trip to the world after surgery in February and stayed in the all Stars music and loved it. I had Broadway and was right across from the Mary Poppins sign (which is my favorite movie ever). I kept looking both ways to cross the 'street' - ha ha! It's s cute resort, it's fun to try to stay in as many different resorts as you can, there is something good about each.

I've stayed at all three All-Stars, and they are usually the first ones we try and visit. The price is good, and honestly, when we go to Disney, we're using the hotel to sleep in it. And All-Star Movies has my favorite pool at Disney World. You'll like when you see it.

Oh man. I have fond memories of my trip to Disney World last year. We stayed at Saratoga Springs and on the first night my Dad and I went to the food court that was across the lake from our room. By the time I was done eating a storm was definitely brewing. As we were walking, it started to rain and then the sky opened up and it just DOWNPOURED and there was thunder and lightning. Knowing that we had to cross the lake and not wanting to do that when there was lightning, my Dad and I found a second floor balcony to hide under. I swear we were standing under there for over an hour. The rain continued on and on, so my Dad and I decided we'd just make a run for it, the sidewalks were completely flooded and we got SOAKED. But it was definitely a memorable first Florida day.

We have stayed and several of the resorts over the years but our one of our favorites is the ALL STAR Resorts. When I go to WDW I want to be immersed in the Disney experience. The value resorts give you just that. Many of the others don't give you that! To be surrounded by Disney characters everywhere you look keep you in that "in the park" feeling. I usually get up early when I stay and I so enjoy getting a cup of coffee and sitting just outside of the main building and watching the family who are dragging their bags to catch the bus to the airport. With out fail there is always a child who asks their parents "can't we stay another day" or my favorite, "I don't want to go." It's a great place to stay. As a matter of fact I will be there on 1 October.

Note that music is where most school bands who perform at magic kingdom stay. So the closer you are to melody hall the more groups there will be. Can get loud. Bands tend to practice on the grass area by rock inn and sidewalk of broadway.

The Value resorts are the one's I stay at when I go, the All Star Resorts are my favourite. Although The theming isn't as immersive, it is just enough to keep you engaged in the disney magic feeling and honestly I'm so tired after spending the day at the parks that all I need is a pool, bed and foodcourt.

We love the All Star resorts! Movies is our fave. They have everything we need there and then some. Always tons of people decorating their windows when we stay. Can't wait to see you go to Movies and Sports.

One great thing about the All Stars is you don't wait forever for a bus to go to the parks. I stayed at the Caribbean Beach, and Coronado Springs and both times I waited forever to get a bus from the resort. It was the same waiting to get back from the parks at the end of the night. As far as theming and price, All Stars is a good deal. When I brought my school groups there, it was the only way we could afford to stay onsite. If you only use a hotel to sleep and shower, I would highly recommend it.

I stayed at All - Star Sports back in May, and the set up is just about exactly the same with the exception of themeing. It's good for the price - just a place to sleep, plus you get the Disney benefits such as Magical Express, extra magic hours, etc. It wasn't my personal favorite, but I was barely in the room since I was at the parks all day.

That is the hotel Disney put us in when I did the "Disney Magic Music Days" program. We got to sing in Epcot and magic kingdom. The rooms are nice and greatly decorated.

First time at Disney I stayed at Contemporary. Second time we did All Star Movies. The cost was WAY lower and while it was a bit of a trip (especially having to go all the way back to change my pants after a space mountain crotch splitting.. Mishap) it was a great place to stay. Unwinding in the evenings at the big pools and even just having easy onsite food options. I'd recommend it easily to people.

Hi Tim and Jenn, LOVE YOU GUYS BTW, I dont know if you will actually get to read this or not, but just helping out with some All Star resort info. We always stay at the value resorts because that's what we can afford, so we've stayed in and seen them all!! LOL...JUst an a few FYI's- - The resort is non-smoking except for those areas you were walking around in that had the trash cans with ash trays. Those were the designated spots you just happened to walk through. -There are more rooms toward the back because those are the cheaper rooms. You pay extra for " preferred room" to be near the bigger pool and food court area. - Of all of the 3 All Stars, SPORTS is the smallest. While the rooms are about the same size in all of the values ( except music does have family suites now, 2 rooms suites that run around 240 per night in off season) . Sports food court area is VERY small , with only one drink station and fewer food choices. - POP century and Art of Animation are also "value" resorts but they are the newest and prices are a little more for those rooms, but still cheaper than the moderate( if you stay in the mermaid section of Art). The theme at ART of animation is AWESOME!! Even if we stay at POP , we walk over the bridge connecting the resorts just so we can walk around and take pics!! -Pop has the LEAST amount of "DISNEY" themed stuff around the hotel so for that reason is my LEAST fav of the values, BUT they are now getting new room make overs that look totally awesome . You can see pics on allearsnet.com. -Art of animation has the BIGGEST food court of all of the values, with plenty of drink stations and food areas. OK, that's all, just wanted to share some tips on the values!! We love them because that's all we can afford . We are just so excited to make it back to the world, we are not picky about where we stay!! THANKS for all of your awesome videos!!!

We liked the Value resorts when we visited Disney years ago. We were able to stay on property for cheaper. Since we were only sleeping in the room, no sense in paying for amenities that we were not going to use.

The All Star resorts are a family favorite of ours!!! I've been going to the All Star resorts since I was like 3 years old. We always stay at Sports. For some reason, Sports has always been "home" for us. I highly recommend these resorts for anyone's first trip :)

I stayed at the All Star Movies resort back in April 2016. The layout is very similar to the other All Star resort motels... including the Music one in this video. Was a really good Value level resort. Also, a game card will work with ALL arcades throughout the entire WDW resort area.

I stayed at this hotel with my grandparents a few years back. Spent a month with them in Florida during the summer while I was off school. They "surprised" my sister and I with a trip to Disney for a week and went to a bunch the Disney parks. Highlight of the trip happened while swimming in the giant guitar pool. The resort lifeguards began freaking out because someone had pooped in the pool 😂 other than that incident, the trip was absolutely fantastic.

Back in the day (as in 10 years ago) all of the All-Stat resorts shared a bus and you would have to stop at movies, music and sports every time. The buses also got super crowded so if you weren't the first stop, you usually had to stand or wait for the next bus.

I'm from NYC, so I can answer the question about Broadway. At the south west corner of Central Park is Columbus Circle. From there, Broadway runs somewhat parallel to Central Park. So technically, you can walk out of Central Park, follow the round-about, and be right on Broadway. Broadway itself is actually REALLY long - it goes about 30 miles, just beyond Sleepy Hollow!
