Disney's Animal Kingdom Christmas Tree, Park Decorations, Dining at Yak & Yeti & Meeting Characters

Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park is decorated for the holidays and I am bringing you along for the first day to check it all out, plus meet fun characters, have delicious food, check out the holiday crowds and more! The giant Christmas tree is up right at the entrance, covered in themed ornaments and decorations, and the entire park is decorated, themed to each area! Animal Kingdom has some of the most unique holiday decorations, between the Merry Menagerie themed animal lanterns, the bottle caps and found objects wreaths and garland, and of course Dinoland USA's fun and funny Dinosaur and duck themed decor! We also have a delicious lunch at Yak & Yeti restaurant and check out their new menu, and meet characters at Donald's Dino-Bash, like Donald Duck and Daisy Duck in special outfits and in their NEWLY CHRISTMAS decorated meet & greet areas!!! We check out the holiday and RunDisney crowds, see boat flotillas, take in the atmosphere, and of course see lots of new holiday merchandise in the parks too! I always say this, Animal Kingdom is my favorite park. It looks absolutely beautiful. I love all the decorations. That bowl looked really good, it’s making me hungry now. I’m so excited to see all your adventures next year. Every year I get Christmas ornaments from Starbucks. I even have a carafe ornament from Starbucks.

I love love love AK during the Holidays! I think it doesn't get its due because everyone naturally thinks of MK and Studios, which are awesome too, but there is something special about AK. Now with the time change, we can see it in the evenings which is Amazing. I'm sad I won't get to see it this year, BUT! this is why I have the awesome Super Enthused to bring me along 😁 I knew I should've gotten another Peppermint Moca before watching Lol. For years I did not want to visit this park because growing up I visited a lot of zoos. I did not like the smell and hate to see animals in cages. Then I watched one of your videos about the park and then visited it and loved it. Thanks for setting me straight.

I was right when I said, AK Christmas magic! Uh, all the decorations are so gorgeous, and those lanterns just put it over the top😍 3. That bowl from Yak and Yeti looked amazing! Animal Kingdom will never _not_ be our favorite WDW park 😍 I've always loved the tree at the main gate, all of the Pooh characters and similar Disney critters. Chocolate and toothpaste! 😂 Yak & Yeti is always a great pick, and your food looked amazing! We're really going to miss Dinoland when it disappears, too...especially during the holidays, when the whole area has such an amazing vibe. They really go all out! Fortunately, Donald and Daisy look fashionable in any season and will always be around. 😁We've only been to DAK during the holidays once, and I feel like we missed so much! Never saw the Merry Menagerie of Animal Puppets, totally missed the ambient holiday loop and overlooked 90% of the garlands and holiday decor! About time for a revisit, I think haha thanks so much for sharing, Jackie! Happy Holidays! ✨
