Pros: -Mature cast for high school, no doubt! -Beast and Gaston's voices were husky and georgous -"If I can't love her" Woooowwww!!! 😍 -Georgeous set -Overall enjoyed! Cons: -Belle needs to flow more when she sings and wailed too much -Cogsworth was boring. I know he's not the most interesting character but I don't remember him at all. -Costumes were boring. The Beast looked like a cat 🐱 in Cats

I just graduated from this high school last year. We are not a performing arts school. We're a normal public school that gets practically no funding from ways other than fundraising. We are fortunate enough to have quite a nice auditorium but other than that, it comes down to our amazing teacher and technical director as well as the students. :)

My high school did this my freshman year. And one of the girls' uncles was a professional make up artist in LA, and he flew out and did all the prosthetics for the show. It was AMAZING! It was truly professional worthy!

This is absolutely incredibly. The props, the costuming, the sets, the choreography, everything is completely on point. Sure, some of the vocals are a little off, but when everything else is completely on point (and the main vocals are rarely unwavering), ad considering this is a HIGH SCHOOL performance?!?! I'm more than willing to overlook a few discrepancies. Bravo, guys, I only wish I had gotten to see this live!

Love this production :) All the actors and actresses were amazing :) And that transformation scene was just spectacular :O Especially considering the special effects they would be working with as a high school production.......but it looked so convincing and I liked how he effortlessly got out of the harness without making it too obvious he was doing so :)

Throughout the whole musical I was incessantly saying how good these actors and college students were. Come to find out this incredible musical was performed by High School students, Blew my mind. These students have an amazing talent and if they major in drama then I am quite positive that they will become very successful. Good-job again!

Watcha musical performed by The City Academy Hackney (in London). They are a secondary school and their cast ranges from 11-17. Their performances are AMAZING, they are performing Sister Act this year on the 11th 12th and 13th of july next week. Wish them luck! Previously they have performed Oliver, Bugsy Malone, Annie and Hairspray.

Very fine performance. I worked with my local high school in 2008, when they did this show. Played piano & keyboards, and I have to say that the music for this show is a killer to play. Truly one of the most difficult in all my years of musical theatre. So, I tip my hat to any group that attempts this show.

What an amazing production, while I didn't have time to watch the entire thing, I could see through the first couple numbers the amount of work that was put into it. I just preformed Beauty & the Beast at my High School last Spring and we didn't have nearly as much money for our production as this school has, but we made it work :). Break a leg with your next shows :) Can't wait to see them!

I wish our High School had the capability to produce sets like this. This must have cost a fortune. We have a young cast 3 weeks away from the show and although the quality of the performers is arguably better than this, we cannot not compete with the set. :( #feelingdepressed

Our high school spent over a hundred thousand on Phantom Of The Opera, and the same for Mary Poppins! It's where you live sadly. The place I ju st moved from, was like the very oppisite.

***** We also had the help of all the kids who showed up to build the sets for free which cuts down on costs. All of the costumes were rented and some sets were simply remodeled to fit this show (such as in the forest scenes).

+Kyle Martin 100,000 thrown away on each play. Think of how many textbooks a school could buy, and teach future adults a useful trade like soldering computer boards or securing cars from hacking or some other skill that will land a job. Instead these persons will be working McDonalds or Walmart after high school. (No wonder this nation carries a debt load of $200,000 per home when it wastes so much cash.)
