24:54 Bold assumption, buddy. I didn't even make it past the 2nd level when I was a kid. The entire Souls series with Bloodborne, Sekiro and Elden Ring added for good measure is amateur hour compared to the memories I have of this game. And I love the aforementioned games.

Nah it’s actually pretty forgiving overall. It looks hard at first glance but it’s quite generous with health pickups and enemies don’t deal much damage.

A large part of why it looks worse than you may remember is because as kids we played this on CRT screens and in a sense the games art was designed as such to utilize the fuzzy nature of CRTs to soften all the pixel edges, shame they're so impractical to keep around because they're the best for old games

this is peak pixelart, if it was made 2/3 years later the game would have been a mario 64 clone as that was popular in the early 2000s for movie tie ins and those aged worse.
