Luke was great in Prince of Egypt and I'm sure he'll be great here as well. I would love to see him as Quasimodo in Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame.

One of my favourite Disney songs of all time, I adore the film and cannot wait to see this next summer. I saw The Prince of Egypt in 2021 and Luke was phenomenal in that.

Luke looks like he'll make a great Hercules (and he's hot too!). This is one of the shows I'm debating going to for my 30th birthday next year which just happens to be in the summer when the show opens. The other one is Unfortunate, the origins story and parody musical about Ursula. That hasn't confirmed a London/West End run yet but I've been corresponding with the producers and I'm hoping they'll listen to me!🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

I wasn’t wild about the Prince of Egypt musical but I thought the cast really were talented and Luke was a brilliant choice for Moses. I think he’s going to crush Hercules. He has the right balance of strength and kindness.

Completely agree! Hercules is one of my FAVOURITE (animated) musicals.. ! I adore the main theme.. But the Hamburg musical I saw last month was a desaster! ( translation and story changes mainly) I hope for the best!

Can you tell me what's was wrong with rhe hamburg production?I only saw the trailer and some reels and I thought it looked great, so I'm surprised reading your comment because I was excited to see the whole deal.

​@@estrelassempresonham6033 Yes I liked the trailer also, and everybody has to check out for their own, of course.. Beware some spoiler alert!..!: - I disliked major changes to the plot, like: - Meg tells Herc she is a fraud, basically right on the nose - very plumb Villain story arc of Hades character -Actors , singers basically IMPOSSIBLE to understand during songs, from the best seats in the middle, in row #10 -Muses WAYY to loud + Costumes and SET-DESIGN good but trying almost to tell a different storyline than the plot, or even competing to FIX it! - Go the Distance theme, way to under-represented during the play - skipped beautiful parts from the original score , I absolutely liked before - The underworld looks cheap - no Pegasus ( well I excuse that one maybe) -shallow characters.. ( esp. Phil and Hades and former "pain and Panic" now "Karl-Heinz"..?! seriously?) - no catharsis moment in the play or even "engagement" - Hades has a "mother syndrom" of the cheapest kind - Muses are dressed like cheerleaders and stomping around, annoyingly.. - Unlogical at most parts ( Like MEG is in the underworld in the beginning- instead of on earth) - skipped the 3 Fates/ Moiras altogether - Hercules doesn't really show anythimg else than muscle power, cheap story twist ( got rid of the 3rd act from movie, where Hercules grows older and dives to SAVE MEG in the river Styx water) -unmotivated characters, partly VERY BAD ACTING ( or directing advices, apparently) -HORRENDOUS German new translations throughout! ( "Endlich angekomm'n" instead of "right where I belong") - inevitable disengagement of the audience + It wasn't very long + Hercules actor did his best, within the slim corsett of the play, what was expected from him. + CONFETTI at the end- Well -Yes! BUT, please see for yourself! I hoped they would limit the "Gospel Parts" a little ( like in the movie, even there it sometimes bugged me a little bit, even though I like Gospel) and strenghten more the "Mythological Parts"! Overall : They threw out the parts that were RIGHT from the movie and kept what could habe been improved, instead! Maybe I was critical, but I really LIKED the MOVIE! And therefore had HIGH hopes.. Please see instead: LA JOLLA-Playhouse version/ Papermill version of : "Hunchback of Notre Dame" Musical adaptation (on KZbin) of a sucessfull translation from an animated to a real-life version musical!

@@janmartenlocher Oh,I already saw the play of hunchback of notredame;even though I wanted a happy ending,I thought it was an amazing play.Patrick Page as Frollo was amazing as always.And I think I can see the problem in Hercules Hamburg now,it seems there were many bad things together to be ignored even though the production was HUGE.I wish I had your discerning eye to analyze too😄I always make a review of what I liked and disliked in the plays I watched to share with my friend,but I don't think I would be able to add so many things as you did if I tried.Btw,I watched the hercules play of Disney cruise because I couldn't find the one from hamburg,I didn't like it that much either and even though it was from a cruise I had high expectations because The tangled musical they did was amazing. Basically there was no character development of the characters,things happened too fast,Pegasus appeared but just in the baby scene and then disappeared from the play,Pain and Panic were throwing too much puns about pop culture,I actually had to skip because it lasted like 3 minutes non stop and the 3 act happened,but by storytelling.

It's too fast paced for me. No pauses at all, ruins the performance.. even though he has a great voice!
