The brick line may be a reference to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. That race track was originally built of bricks about 100 years ago and even after the track got paved over to what it is today, there is a line of bricks on the main straight to celebrate the history. Therefore this place is called the brickyard so this may be a reference to a fellow race track?

The Indianapolis motor speedway where they hold the Indy 500 every year, has 1 yard of bricks at the start finish line that is a holdover from it’s past. Before it was repaved. And the winner kisses those bricks.

I believe that brick line on the Speedway is left over from when it was called the Indianapolis motor Speedway. It’s supposed to represent the yard of bricks at the Indianapolis motor speedway

Before the track at IMS was covered in blacktop, it was originally paved with brick. The brick line on Tomorrowland Speedway was made wit some of those brick pavers.

The Encanto medley was great--so glad you were able to see it and share with us 😊 I've seen footage of Tron with the lights on at night, and it looks great--hopefully you'll be able to see it in person soon. Also, Jackson definitely needs that Oogie Boogie hat--even if he has to grow into it.

LOVE the Encanto medley!!!! I would be jamming out!!!! The root beer and vanilla slushy sounds so good! I would so try that! I have the baby Groot shoulder sitter, and the electronic baby Groot shoulder sitter! I got them both on shopDisney, but I didn't realize with the electronic one I had to get the Bluetooth speaker so sadly he doesn't dance to my music. Jackson would love that Oogie Boogie hat!

I'm sure someone will already have mentioned this in the comments but the bricks on Tomorrowland Speedway are a tribute to the Indianapolis speedway where the Indy 500 is raced - it used to be completely surfaced in bricks (is it still known as the brickyard?). Although it's tarmac now there's still a strip of brick as a nod to how it used to be - I love that detail on the Disney version!

The “brick line” is a reference to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The track used to be totally brick and is referred to as the Brickyard. The entire track was replaced with asphalt except for one strip of bricks at the finish line. Winners of races at this track kiss the bricks to celebrate their win.

The strip of bricks in Speedway references Indy’s “Brickyard”. The iconic Indy 500 race track used over 3 million bricks to complete in the early 1900s. Of course today the race track in covered in asphalt; however, there is a small section left uncovered where race fans have their traditions and celebrations.

Indycar raced at the Walt Disney World Speedway (The Mickyard) starting in 1996. During the time Indycar raced at the Mickyard, Tomorrowland Speedway was modified to include iconic sights and sounds at Indianapolis Motor Speedway (Indy 500). One of those sounds was legendary IMS announcer Tom Carnegie announcing throughout the ride. One sight was the scoring pylon. Indianapolis Motor Speedway was paved with bricks in 1909 and was then nicknamed the Brickyard. Today, the bricks are covered with several layers of asphalt, except for at the start/finish where the bricks remain. That line of bricks you referenced are actually called the yard of bricks at IMS and is the start/finish line for the Indy 500 and other racing events at IMS.

I'm not sure- but I think that the brick line is probably there as a nod to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway because that's what the start/finish line is... the Indianapolis Motor Speedway was originally called The Brickyard because the entire track was paved with bricks, but then as the track started to age, they filled in spots with asphalt, and now the only part of the track that's left as brick is the literal yard wide patch of bricks that serves as the finish and start line.

Those bricks are a nod to the brick line at Indianapolis speedway. The whole track used to be paved with bricks. When they replaced them years later, they left one strip of bricks across the track in memory of the original speedway. The speedway is still known as The Brickyard.

We were there that day. That's us at 7.00. My father in law cruising the scooter, and my wife and son walking along. . We were so thrilled to have a chance to say hi to you. Went the other day. We tried the 50th hot dog at Casey's and it wasn't good. The cold chunky strawberry topping made the hot dog cold. And the funnel cake bits were hard. But later we had a corn dog from sleepy hollow and that was delicious as always

i would imagine the (more popular, newer) characters where they still have working voice actors that are able to record new media are the ones that will get updated with halloween or other sounds in the future. the older characters are just snippets from their respective movies.
