Disney's Hollywood Studios Holiday Boys Day Out! | Festive Treats, Star Wars & Christmas More Fun!

In today's vlog we head to Disney's Hollywood Studios to meet up with some friends and check out some of the holiday offerings and treats! We also head into Star Wars Galaxy's Edge because our friends hadn't been there yet so we were able to experience it with them on their first trip. We rode Smuggler's Run and Rise of the Resistance with them too. We got to see the Christmas tree lighting and then tried a few more treats on our way out of the park. On that Hanukkah shirt you saw, the sweet pastries you mentioned are supposed to be jelly donuts also known as sufganiyot! Foods that are fried in oil are traditional for Hanukkah because of the story about the miracle of one night's worth of oil staying lite for 8. 😊

We ate lunch at that high top table right behind you at Backlot Express the very next day! My kids tried the frozen hot chocolate and did not like it. I agree with you about the decorations, Tim. The Christmas decorations at Hollywood Studios are my favorite. I think it's even more festive than Magic Kingdom.

Love the retro look of the Studios decorations. If I'm remembering correctly, when I used to come annually in the 90's, the big tree in front of the entrance to the Studios used to have gigantic retro-looking, huge Santa heads on it, and I loved that. That acapella group reminds me of Toxic Audio, which used to perform at the Jazz Club on Pleasure Island, and I also saw them off Broadway a few times - they were AWESOME!! The Dockside Diner flags are flags that each represent a different thing a boat can do. For example, one can be hung when they are in an anchorage to signify they are not actively sailing. There are many more, but from the quick look I got, I think they are those kinds of flags!😁😅

So black spire outpost is a settlement made on the ruins of a giant tree. what you were pointing out was called permineralization a good example for this is the trees in petrified forest national park. A lot of black spire was based off of this park.
