Perfect day for a stroll through the Polynesian resort. The Polynesian is one of the best designed resorts and a favorite of mine.

Only ever one stay...but really enjoyed it and look forward to another stay someday!! My heart jumped a little as you started out approaching Rarotonga (the long house I stayed in my visit there)!! Ah the lobby, the "boutiki" (dang! is that a dole whip mug...must get!!). The main lobby is such a place! I spent a little time there just taking in the atmosphere and people-watching. Such a great capture of details starting here and moving on out to the resort as a whole!! I have to admit that walking between the accommodations buildings makes me a little self-conscious...so close together in some spots. Many thanks, my friend, for this Saturday escape back down to The Poly!!

No matter how many times I visit the Poly, that special feeling is the same each time for me! Every here and there, the Poly may creep up past CB as my favorite haha but the love for both is almost equal. I’m glad you enjoyed this virtual trip back to this beautiful resort, thanks so much as always my friend!!

You do know that you can go to the actual Polynesian Islands right? They are real. They are cheaper and nicer. Just saying.
