Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Tour | Walt Disney World Resort

This was the second most requested Resort Tour for our poll, so we headed over to the Polynesian Village Resort on the monorail loop for Magic Kingdom! This is a fantastic hotel, and I envy anyone who has been able to stay here or has plans to! Enjoy our tour around the village as we explore all of the amenities this resort has to offer!

Went with my family in 1977-we got stuck in a snowstorm in Chattanooga and lost a day. We rolled into the parking lot at the Polynesian at about 2AM, exhausted. Two cast members met us with a golf cart, loaded us and our luggage, and drove us to our longhouse so we didn't have to walk. That's what Disney service used to be like.

I feel like we are definitely missing some of those Disney moments around the parks for sure. I feel like they were really going out of their way to make memorable trips and memories for people. It definitely feels a bit more "dollar sign" forward and just corporate heavy. Maybe it changes, but I'm not sure. Everyone does seem to want money more than anything right now. They know guests will continue to show up, but if they can't continue to make lasting impressions in a positive way, I don't know if the word will get out about a Disney vacation as much. And if someone replies "ya, it was alright for the money, but nothing special" then it might deter people from visiting. Word of mouth is one of the strongest marketing campaigns for a company, and they don't have to spend a penny. But it can be REALLY bad or REALLY good for them depending.

1:55, I miss the giant rainforest/waterfalls in the middle. It gave it more character and felt different. They should added a small tribute to it in the middle with a smaller waterfall.

I was never able to visit when that was around, but I've heard a lot of people mention it over the past year or so. I can imagine it would have been an amazing touch to an already fantastic resort!

Great video! I finally bit the bullet booked it, staying Memorial Day Weekend for 3 nights!! Got a good price at 30% off with my Annual Pass discount. I'm hoping not too much rain each day, want to spend a lot of time at the resort/pool.

Oh yay! Nice! That's so exciting, we want to stay so bad haha. Maybe we try and find a time in their 30% window and see if we can grab something. I know some hotels are even up to 35%. It seems like a great resort to stay and hangout by the water/Beach and just enjoy the good Disney Vibes!

@@Dillon.Thomas you have to book as soon as the discount window comes up, otherwise the discounts start to get lower the more rooms that were booked with it. I got a 35% for pop century in Sept. Love being at a skyliner resort and thats in my budget

@@leahd2428 Oh, I didn't realize they adjust the discount like that! We should probably look like... now then haha. I think the idea of having a skyliner resort for a stay would be amazing. Those really were such a smart idea. I've also heard great things about Pop Century, we definitely plan on doing a resort tour of that in the future here soon.

Is there a walking path from the Polynesian to the TTC?

There is! We actually took the pathway this day. It's off to the right, and it's probably only 5 minutes or less honestly! It's a great option, but you also have the ability to take the polynesian boat ride over or the monorail straight from the resort.
