Damn, I felt for Jared. It wasn't his fault that he was apparently better than everybody else, he wasn't purposefully trying to show anybody up, he was just living his life and even tried making friends, yet he just ended up being "locked out" everybody on the playground (he basically ended up being bullied by the kids at 3rd Street too, just like the other 38 schools). Everything turns alright in the end for everybody, but I still felt pretty bad for Jared, he wasn't purposefully trying to make the other kids jealous, he was just being himself.

I like this episode because it shows too accept people and not to judge them because they are better at something than you, but I dislike it because it shows perfection, which is something that isn't possible. It also shows that if someone is better than you at something, doesn't constitute a reason to hate them, or think of them as a show-off.

Honestly I kinda see where the kids are coming from, no one wants to be around someone that makes them feel small all the time, even if it's unintentional. There's a reason why the saying is "it's lonely up at the top" and Mary/Gary Stu's are universally reviled. In the real world, no one is obligated to like or be friends with everyone all the time. It's an adult concept that was perfectly executed in the episode "Nobody doesn't like TJ" which remains one of my favorites to this day so it the message of this episode feels like a step back.
