When I was really young I found a $20 on the ground. I mentioned it to my parents and they suggested I leave it for one day (in case who ever dropped it came back.) The next day I was walking in the area again and it was still there (albeit slightly damp) so I brought it home. Can't really remember what happened to it after that (it WAS more than 20 years ago)

@pipewistein The term C-Note is a slang term for a American 100 dollar bill (like Benjamins, due to the fact that Ben Franklin is on the bill). The "C" comes from the fact that the letter "C" is 100 in Roman numerals. As far as the "Note" part goes, it could be a play on the musical term, or the fact that it is paper currency with all information "noted" on it. Hope that helps clear it up.

When I was about 8 I found a 50 dollar bill in the Bed, Bath, & Beyond store, turned it in to the costumer service desk at the store. They said if no one claimed it within a week I could keep it, no one claimed it within a week, I got to keep it. And I blew 30 dollars of it on a Meow-chi, not a very good way to spend money but, hey, what are you gonna do?

You'd think Gretchen would be the one kid out of the 6 of them to realize the actual value of a 100 dollar bill. They are in 4th grade, yet they react to $100 like it was multi-millions. I know $100 is a lot to a kid, but even your average kid has SOME idea of it's value. Heck, she's seen in other episodes doing math and physics that would be advanced for an adult. The "candy spa" that the Ashleys have has more candy in it than $100 could even buy. They should know better as well, or at the very least not be impressed by TJ's level of wealth. He'd still be FAR beneath their parent's level, even if they lack true concept of money.
@TheDarkVampire666

She is also seen in other episodes showing she knows about money the one where she wants to buy a bike for example and another one where she wants to build robots and says it will cost millions.

I think that's deliberate. If it was much higher than 100$, not only would it be pointless to ask anyone in the middle class or lower, but you could just buy a ticket to the theme park anyway, and also I think 100$ sits in a neat middle area of where children aren't necessarily privy to its exact purchasing power, but also it's not so much that considering returning it to its original owner becomes unthinkable.
