ItzQuinn Here honestly I was in the same boat. But you got to figure a kid watching this doesn't actually care about the ages in all actuality. A kid just assumes because a character is giving words of wisdom that by proxy they must be older than you. Couple that together with we were just in it for entertainment value alone makes it ultimately irrelevant and finding this out now/again is kinda startling.

That’s because only sixth graders can be kings (with only one exception) and TJ was about to begin fifth grade in the film. But it would make sense for TJ to succed Freddy since I can’t see anyone else in his year more suitable for the role.

Vince or Gretchen (most Likely) would be literally the King or Queen. Vince has been selected as Class President many times. And Gretchen has been selected as Class President in 4th Grade. Gretchen is mostly likely the candidate for Queen of Playground. Power doesn't corrupt her. She is willing to help others even if it cost's her. She also got Support of her class because of her Policies as Class President.

Finster is never in Bob episodes and vice versa. Otherwise, the episodes wouldn't work. It represents the inherent struggle of duality presented in Recess' DNA. Sometimes it is a show about adults versus kids. Other times it is a Lord of the Flies story.

Funny thing is, what King Bob said about TJ being an easy target was true. If Gus hadn't wanted to touch the ball, TJ wouldn't have let him throw it, then TJ himself would have fallen for the prank, and King Bob would be back on the throne by the next recess like he said.

TJ's prank at the beginning was legitimately pretty good. The prankster put himself in a fake position of disadvantage, got multiple people involved (notice that the delivery guy was Hustler Kid), and the victim was a person who hurt a little kid's feelings and therefore was acceptable as a target.
