Snow White the retold classic story about a young woman running for her life and ending up in a stranger’s home and the first thing she does (cook and clean maybe as a thank you) no this strange lady that broke into their home is telling them to clean while she sings and dance doing nothing to help them who just arrived from the mines. On the surface, this 1 minute trailer presents a story that closely resembles the 1939 film. It took them multiple rewrites 2-3 reshoots to even get to this point - use the original film as source material! It was only due to the HUGE backlash the film was getting for almost for 3 years. Disney changed direction of the film, but they busted the budget at $350 million. And in 2025 they will spend another $100 million for ad/promotion. The film will have to do $1 billion to breakeven for Disney. Like Little Mermaid, this will top out at $650 million at best. If they haven' tapped down on the woke agenda (not shown in the trailer), then the gross box office will be below $500 million.
