Well done for spreading the truth about Jake Lloyd and dismantling that bs narrative. I would further add that nobody ever bullied the child actors who played young Leia in Kenobi, or the young twins in The Acolyte, despite those shows being massively hated by everyone with an ounce of taste. Hell, they didn't even start bullying Amandla Stenberg until she starting calling everyone bigots, and made that cringe dance video. It was entirely self inflicted on her part. Same goes for the majority of Disney Star Wars actors who've complained about being harassed, frequently providing little to no receipts I might add. The lesson is very simple: don't slander the fanbase, for not liking the bad thing you helped make, and no one will have a problem with you personally. Just take the L like an adult, and nobody will bother you. If you start flinging shit at the paying customer, then don't be surprised if they fling it back. Also, the irony of these creepy weirdos talking about protecting children from us is something else. The purest form of projection I've ever seen. Protect these kids from Hollywood, Disney, and these shills, who want use them as meat shields to protect their terrible product.

My original cyberpunk franchise idea is better than anything Disney Star Wars. It has cyborgs and androids alongside regular humans in its universe, and a complex criminal underworld with different gangs, organizations, and classes. And the city it’s set in has a facist law enforcement agency that’s akin to Warhammer 40K or 1984 and therefore are no better than the criminals they are supposed to be protecting the public from. And frankly some of the criminals that are the protagonists are actually decent people who you wanna route for.

Jake sadly was fated for his breakdown and I seem to recall none of my friend saying more than wish he was a little older. Saw Jake in a few tv episodes and he acted way better there. George not the best director to guild child actors as even season pros had issues with his direction at times. As for this pile of crap show not watching it for the reason it is NOT Star Wars. George is in record stating he made this universe to be different than our own. It is why HE refused to allow characters to have eye glasses and didn’t want zippers on pants as well as other details like that to make it appear other worldly. Disney could give two shits and added that stuff in now they took Lost in Space mixed with Goonies films to make this film. Should have been a new sci fi universe rather than a SW project.

Whilst I share your sentiments about this upcoming "show," I hate to break it to you, but both glasses and zippers existed in George Lucas' Star Wars Universe: first time eye glasses appeared in SW Canon EU was in the Holiday Special worn by the trading post owner on Kashyyyk, and the second time was in the 2nd Ewok Adventure movie The Battle for Endor, worn by the older man who takes care of the little girl on the Sanctuary Moon. Zippers are abound, especially on the Rebel X-wing flight suits which we see Luke put on, as well as on numerous character's costumes, etc. Even regular old shirt buttons were seen on Jango Fetts' shirt on Kamino, and on Senators garbs, and buckles on so many costumes! There were a lot of "earth items" found in GL SW Universe, such as, but not limited to: hot chocolate, caf (coffee), t'bacc (tobacco), chew stem (chewing gum), a whole host of ales, wines, and liquors, not to mention "earth" chess, flimsiplast (writing paper), stylus (pen/pencil), paper books and scrolls, "earth" dice, even "earth" snakes, frogs, lizards, and even actual horses/ponies (Ewok Adventure movies), tangible currency, opera houses, drama shows, news channel, reporters, libraries, wheeled wagons, street vendor food, taxi cabs, cantinas/bars/clubs, music bands, sports, gambling, racing, strippers, prostitution, slavery, criminal gangs, crooked politicians, etc., etc. So whilst George Lucas and his incredible team made a fantastically detailed, otherworldly universe for SW, it took a fair amount of items from our own reality and put it in an alien setting! I believe his words were something along the lines of "familiar, yet different" so as to be more relatable to the audience. Plus, there's the old saying "art imitates life," or vice versa! Haha! But it gets confusing sometimes because oftentimes people tend to misquote George, and that gets spread around, without proper context, on top of the fact that George has made somewhat contradictory statements in the past, which of course lends to the confusion, but it's quite the learning process for a real SW fanatic, as I once thought exactly as you do now, but I have learned a lot since delving into the history and lore of GL SW in ernest!! MTFBWY!!!
