The design of the trivet was the main design when I had my first visit to Disneyworld in April 1974. ( i was 5) We stayed at the Polynesian and they had a character Easter candy hunt on the lawn. So much fun! (in lieu of eggs) I am fairly certain it was the design of the shopping bags you'd get with a purchase. I also remember that goofy looking hat that you bought and then returned. lol I LOVE the retro collection! Thanks for sharing!...Oooh I also remember 20,000 leagues under the sea and Mister Toad's ride.

I laughed at the "trinket tray" which sure looks like an ash tray without the cigarette cut-outs. Back in the 70's everyone offered ash trays for sale or for free.

Oh my goodness! That candy cube brings back so many memories. I used to buy one every single trip. I always bought the one with the tart n tinys. I would carefully eat them while waiting in the lines, and when I got home, I would use it for a trinket box! I will buy one for sure when we come this summer! The little memories are the BEST!

I also got one of those on my trip to WDW way back in the early 90s - it was a Little Mermaid one with those seashell candies. I remember my parents taking me in to get it, I was a tiny little one. Too tiny our first trip, but by second, I earned my Mouse Ears. Yes, I am over 50 , but just slightly. 😉
