Disney Springs Lunch Date Day and New Things Coming To Disney Springs!

In today's video we head out to Disney Springs for a lunch date! This was also baby Jackson's first trip to Disney Springs! He was being pretty grumpy at first, but then calmed down once we got him in the baby carrier. For lunch we decided on one of our favorite restaurants at Disney Springs, Chef Art Smith's Homecomin'. To start with we ordered the Church Lady Deviled Eggs which were some of the most delicious deviled eggs we have ever had! For our main course I ordered the appetizer portion of the Thigh High Chicken Biscuits and a side of fries, which actually turned out a lot spicer than I remembered from the last time I ordered them. Jenn ordered the Crispy Chicken Salad which was very fresh and flavorful with crispy fried chicken and drop biscuit croutons. After lunch we headed into Disney Springs to do some exploring and found a lot of changes coming to the West Side section of Disney Springs. We found that Bongos has been completely destroyed to make way for a new restaurant called Beatrix. Amazing Photos closed to make way for Ample Hills Creamery and Sammy Duval's Curl as well as Fit2Run closed to make way for what we believe will be the new location of the M&Ms store. All in all it was a fantastic day at Disney Springs! We hope you enjoyed this video, join us tomorrow for another new video.

If the baby doesn't like to lay down...the thing making him fussy is gas. When he's upright, he will be calm but still have gas. Burp him more frequently during nursing sessions. Also, the Trackers need a stroller lock. You do have a stroller that some meanies would steal - it's expensive and new. Stroller locks loop through the wheels and make it impossible to walk off with. Granted, people may still steal your carry cot. I'm from NYC where there are thieves everywhere and no one ever leaves anything unattended, so maybe I'm just more paranoid than Floridians.

A show like Cirque being "In previews" means that they are using those performances to judge audience reactions to the show. During the preview time the director can make changes to the show, such trying new music, lights or staging. Anyone can buy a ticket to those performances, you just need to keep in mind that they may be trying things out for the first time. After a show is "open" it becomes frozen, meaning that the director can't make any more changes and the performances will now all be the same :)

Things are so different today. I’m 71 Years old now and I had my first child at 23. We didn’t worry about all the things Jen and Tim worry about. Life just happened and we Simply went with the flow. We did our best and our kids today are adults and they’re amazing. Plus we have three wonderful grandsons. It is cute to watch Jen and Tim Trying to do everything exactly right. I’m sure they’re going to be wonderful parents.

Pro tip - if they make you leave your stroller, pop one of the wheels off, someone is obviously way less likely to steal your stroller if it’s missing a wheel, and it’s small(ish) enough to put under your table at a restaurant

I've found information with my first baby on the various cries they make and how to listen to the different sounds to determine what they want. Listening to the beginning of the cries for a "Neh" sound - hunger. Eh - upper wind (burp) Eairh - lower wind (gas) Heh - discomfort (hot, cold, wet) Owh - sleepiness. It really helped me out when I was confused on hungry vs tired.

I'm not an expert in the new youtube rules, but I thought I read somewhere that if you have a thumb print with a child or baby you could end up having to label your vlog as child friendly or something like that. In other words it draws attention to you and they could lose comments, monitorization, (pardon my spelling if I'm off), and new vlog alerts. Jenn, first of all you the most beautiful mother. I love how chill you are with little Jackson. So precious. And I wanted to tell you that when I was breast feeding I had a cranky baby too at first. The doctor said "well, what are you eating?" I said "ME?" He said "yes - - what you eat will go to the baby in the milk" I HAD NO IDEA. Now I am no medical doctor, just a Mom. But I realized when I quit eating spicy foods like Taco's, Pizza, Etc. the baby started having better not so awful bowel movements, and the gas and crankiness went away.

Look into a lock to put on your stroller! We have a Veer and don't dare to leave it unattended. Usually we bring our graco or city mini to parks. That way it stings a little less if someone was to take it. Also he might have little tummy aches due to Jen eating spicy food. I love how Jackson wants to be held in that carrier by dad...My daughter preferred facing outward in those carriers...every child is different...I agree with Jen, watch your belongings no matter where you go...never leave your diaper bag on the strollers when parked either...When my kids were babies we carried them and they went everywhere in their car carrier...snap into the car...snap into the stroller...very heavy to carry on their own though...For new parents, you guys are doing wonderfully ...no one has all the answers...beautiful family..awesome videos always

You guys could also get a lil portable sound machine to use in his stroller that may help him sleep longer and be soothing to him. That may help when he gets fussy when you guys are out and about. Used it with my lil... hung it inside the stroller when she was sleeping and put a lil cover over to block light... worked wonders. 😊

"Preview" in theatre usually means like a soft opening. They might still be working out kinks, and things may change between previews and the final production, and they can be at a discounted price! ('the more you know' hands)

In theatre terms, "preview" typically means that the show is still technically in rehearsal but now open to patrons to come check it out for a reduced price. This gives the creative team genuine outside feedback and they can make adjustments as necessary. With Cirque it also means they can test and test all the technology involved in the show. I’d get a less expensive stroller for when you start going to the parks. There have been instances of expensive strollers being stolen to be resold. We never brought our uppababy with us. The baby jogger city mini is a great affordable option.

I have been to a Beatrix a couple times, they have healthier foods. I like their superfood type of salad. They had some fresh juices and have a good selection of gluten-free desserts and a few vegan options. Love Ample Hills Creamery is coming to Disney Springs.

My kid insisted on being worn or held if we weren't moving, and he got so much burger fixin's, curry, and whatever else on his poor little head. Also, we started a photo album after a while called "Places I've Nursed" because he also wanted to eat all of the time. Eventually, we realized that the photo album would be smaller if we took pictures where he didn't nurse. And except for one time when he was a year old at the Flagstaff Brewing Company, he was more than three years old before my husband and I both sat through a whole meal at home or out. We tag-teamed walking/soothing and later following him around because he just always wants to move (we always made sure to leave if he was crying, and never let him bother other diners when he was mobile). He's 5 now, and we still don't take eating out for granted. It's super nice to be able to do it basically normally again. :) For what it's worth, we took a pretty expensive stroller to Disney and left it everywhere. No one messed with it except cast members moving it out of the way, so we got to add super fun scavenger hunts to our trip! :D

You could possibly put a Tile Cube on your stroller! It’ll track the location of your stroller. Also, takes pics of it, even write identifying info on the bottom of stroller. That’s what we’ve done, when going out and having to leave it unattended. Hope it all works out!

You could also try the stroller with the seat facing you, and reclined! We put a newborn head support in our stroller and reclined with a slight incline, and our son loved it so much more than laying flat!

Hey there, good to see Jackson out and about. Kings cake is a celebratory cake for the Three Kings. Three Kings day (January 6) is widely celebrated in the Hispanic cultures. Where we are from, Puerto Rico, it's bigger than Christmas. The children fill a shoebox with grass, hay or straw and tuck it under their beds, the Kings arrive, camels eat the grass and leave a gift for the children.

I have the vista as well for my kids! My four month old now HATES to lie flat, so we've switched up to the rumble seat and she's super happy now. Before she was getting fussy like Jackson, so as soon as he's big enough, I'd totally switch him to it.

In Europe, we eat King cake on the 6th of January, which is 3 Kings Day. There is a 'bean', or rather a figurine or something in the cake and the one who finds it, is 'King or Queen' of the day.

Try propping up the bassinet mattress by popping a blanket underneath the mattress. If babies are gassy or don’t like laying flat this is a great way to help ease them! Jackson is still too little to go into the toddler seat, they are from 6 months up 😊 you guys are doing a great job!

Jackson reminds me a lot of my son. He had reflux and a milk protein allergy and always seemed fussy/colicy just because he was very uncomfortable. He had pretty bad eczema on his face due to his milk protein allergy (though Jackson's may just be baby acne). Once we eliminated dairy from his diet, he was a much happier baby. My son never liked laying flat - he was much more comfortable being inclined in a car seat while out and about. All babies are so hard to figure out because they're all so different. You guys are doing a great job and are so loving with Jackson - keep it up!
