That ending makes me think that you are reading my mind. When I was thinking of songs you didn't mention that I love, you decided to mention them (Be Prepared and Friends on the Other Side). My favorite Disney villain song is either Poor Unfortunate Souls or one of the two songs I mentioned previously. They are just so fun to sing. Of course Gaston is a close fourth for the same reasons.

hands down my top favorite song is hell fire because the music sends chills down my spine. there is so much tension and then at the end when the tension is released, I feel like I just came back from a... nightmare! i love that song

Absolutely agree that the wordplay in Poor Unfortunate Souls is pure genius. Howard Ashman was just beyond amazing. I once heard that Pat Carroll took a lot of inspiration from how Ashman performed it in his demos ("Life's full of tough choices, iddn't it?" was modeled exactly after him). Glad for the runner-up shout-outs to Be Prepared and Friends on the Other Side. Some amazing powerhouse villainous vocals there!

My favorite villian songs are hellfire, be prepared, mother knows best ( this is the best one to sing along to!!:D) and also savages. Savages have this really intense expression and I love the part at the end where pocahontas voice overlaps the other parts it's so well made. And Hellfire is as you said so evil but very well written. I really liked your list too :D.
