WALT DISNEY WORLD COMPLETE! I did! All four parks at Walt Disney World! Today out of the blue and I are at animal Kingdom,, in the form of snow Everest-ish mountains, gorillas, a little bit of heat, and a lot of humidity...

I love EE. It's a great ride. It was even better when the Yeti was working properly. It use to swipe it's arm at you and it was realistically freaky. It has major damage to the foundation and requires a major refurb to fix. Joe Rhode promised he would fix it. I assume that will be after Pandora opens. I think Animal Kingdom is more humid because of all the foliage and standing water.

I heard the tree of life has an oil rig inside it so it was a solid structure and safe in crazy weather...can't remember where I heard it though?

It's too bad your flight wasn't later in the day so you could've stayed in Animal Kingdom longer. I've never been to WDW, but I think Epcot and DAK would be my favorite parks because of all the cultures represented and amazing theming. If Disney ever builds a third park in California, I hope it would be some type of World Showcase.

Don't tell Jeff Heimbuch you only spent a quarter of the day there, he strongly believes Disney's Animal Kingdom is a full day park. Expedition Everest is pretty rad. I haven't been on it in like 3 years. Safe travels back to Cali!

Africa hot! Next time be sure to set up a mydisneyexperience account on their site to book your fastpasses 60 days ahead of time. best time to do the safari is first thing in the morning before its too hot for the animals.

Kind of. Adventureland has more the "fantasy" aspect and DAK is more realistic. Adventureland is based on the Tiki craze of the 50's and is kind of a blend of "exotic" places from all over the world. DAK is divided up into areas based on South America, Africa and Asia. Adventureland in WDW and DLP has a section dedicated to Pirates. Did you know Walt wanted to originally use real animals in the Jungle Cruise? Now there's an entire park that's dedicated to animals in Walt's name!

Justinscarred that's my favorite ride at Disney's animal kingdom. It's named after Vekoma. And it opened on April 7, 2006. And it goes forwards and backwards. I really enjoyed Expedition Everest for years.

hey justin. just a fun fact for you and adam the woo. expedition everest is the worlds most expensive roller coaster. it took 6-7 years to do, they flew all the imagineers there, they built the city around it and bout actual ancient artifacts and all the props there are from milaysia. it cost a wopping $1million for that ride.

+Bill Cipher That is far from true. You could spend an entire week in DAK and still not see or do everything. People who say it's only a half day park are usually the people who hit up the safari, Everest and Dinosaur and then leave. If you ever want suggestions of things to do, just ask a Cast Member!

I was a Cast Member as well. And I also said that there is much to do even after your first day. If you need some suggestions on what to do or how to enjoy DAK, I'd be happy to give you some. WDW Prep School Blog also did an article on how they once thought DAK was a half day park, but after a while they slowed down, did everything, and now it's their favorite! I highly suggest reading that blog.
