My daughter and I went in February. I have an annual pass and she bought a multi-day park hopper ticket. We stayed at the Yacht Club. We park-hopped every day. Our favorite park is Epcot. Nearly every day we ended our day there so that we could walk back to our hotel without having to wait for transportation. It was nice to be able to go to a park after Animal Kingdom closed (which is always early), and we ran out of things we wanted to do in Hollywood Studios by 3PM, so it was nice to park-hop that day too.

Remember that they charge four times as much or more for anything you buy at any of their parks including Disney Springs. I agree with you 100 percent, I've been going to all these parks for more than 40 years. Every year they raise the park admission, parking, food, buy a 12 ounce bottle of water and they'll charge probably now about $4.00 to $5.00 dollars. When you can get 24 to 30 bottles for the same price at a Walmart store. Their stores are the same. But people like myself that still love the parks, still go. If they let you bring bottles of water, bottles of soft drinks and snacks it's worth it, especially for a big family and anybody that wants to save money, especially in today's economy. Also I recommend going to outlet stores to get Disney merchandise at a much lower price, I should know I've been burned before many times throughout the years. Enjoy and God everybody!

My sister and I just went last week (spring break) and park hopping was totally worth it! We made two days of Hollywood Studios park passes, so we were able to ride Slinky Dog twice (first ride each day), as well as get boarding groups and ride Rise of the Resistance both days! We always take a mid day, 2 hour break at the resort, and from there we went to EPCOT for the remainder of the day (open till 11). We were able to do all the big attractions in Hollywood Studios, at least twice!

Great tip, Molly! I was just looking at purchasing tickets for the fall and was having this debate whether to get PH or not. Hoping park hours get extended an it will make sense for us to get PH later this year. We like the flexibility to go grab a meal at a favorite restaurant or end the night at EPCOT with a drink or dessert. As one does.

Honestly, I never recommend anyone get a Park Hopper ticket. Like Molly said, if you're a repeat guest, then maybe. But why not save the $. One park a day, doesn't wear you out as much.

I'm heading down Sep 25 - Oct 3, and I'm planning on Park Hopping. I got the Park Passes I wanted, I was even able to move one around. My plan is to visit my "Pass Park" in the morning, and then the other one in the afternoon, when crowd size are likely to be a bit lower. Hopefully by that time, things will loosen up more, and it'll make transportation easier. Luckily, I'm staying at CB, so I'll be able to utilize the Skyline

Magic Kingdom is pretty much a full-day park. What we have found is that we can park-hop at Studios/Animal Kingdom or one of those with Epcot. We just don't spend as much time at each of those and park hopping enables to hit both parks (all three in one day is a bit too much) in just one day.

I always get the park hopper. I often end the day at epcot and get something to eat there and then ride a few rides with shorter waits. It looks like this is still a decent strategy.

I was just there on Monday and it was jam packed. Couldn’t even get through one park in one day. We waited over an hour for it’s a small world. 👀 Big thunder mountain was at 40 minutes and we waited about 20 tops. Will definitely be returning at a less busy time of year. Traditionally we like to go in September or January.

The lines have shorter wait times...but you make up for it in distance walked in the line...the wrap arounds are like human mazes!! Pirates is one of my favorites..I miss the old smell...crazy I know..but that musty smell of the dark cave always made me feel nostalgic!

We would always use park hopping to see a second park in the evenings. I tend to have some slow movers in my group so we don’t knock things out like Molly does. So to us it doesn’t make a difference unless park hours are all really short.

We were there last week and park hopped all five days. It was so much fun and with the Skyliner by our CBR room it was so fast. Hint: park hopper is so cheap if you are staying on property and buying four or five days of tickets. It’s cheap to add.
