You paid for a specific kind of shirt and you need to get what you paid for.. plain and simple and if she didnt know if lonnie was a girl name or boy she should have contacted you. That would've shown she was being professional. So dont feel bad at all.. I would have done the same.

That's totally how I am when I'm going on trips and it was so fun to see all of what you were bringing. And I can totally understand being upset about the shirts because you ordered early specifically to avoid running out of time and to account for any problems... and still ran out of time and ran into problems... and that totally stinks.

Oh my gosh. I have been an embroidery and vinyl seller on etsy for 3 plus years and I never would have sent those out! How horribly she handled it! I'm sorry you dealt with that, wish I could have helped you out, those designs are some of my biggest embroidery sellers!

I can’t wait to see the vlogs from Disney! I don’t like fast rides or high rides so that rules out most things but I still loved Disney when I went in 3rd grade; that’s one of my favorite parts about it. You can go on rides that are fast or really high up without going on rides meant for 3 year olds. I watched this video while doing homework but during your storytelling I forgot about that so I need to quick make a few more flash cards!

Don’t apologize girl. If you ordered it specific and have it with proof it says embroidered with names, you are good. Etsy is tricky, and I found on amazon ones with daddy/mommy, I kept it simple but wish I did personalized. Lol. Hope you had a great time and this gets resolved

It's a shame that shop on Etsy didn't give you a refund not just the first time but also the second time! They should totally refund your purchase! And lol to Lonnie Jr. wearing a Minnie Mouse shirt! If I was him I would be so embarrassed walking around with that on! Get it right Etsy woman! It's not that hard to get stuff right! Well I know that you will have a good time regardless! Always pay with pay pal and never pay gift through pay pal. If your order isn't right and they won't refund you then take it up with pay pal. They will open a case

There is a Etsy complaints department where you can report problems. It takes ages though and is an automated email system. I don't shop on Etsy anymore for excatly the same reason. I do have a shop though, needless to say if l made a mistake I'd be refunding the order right away. It's just the right way to do business in my opinion. 😊

The Freedom Project i have done the complaint department thing several times. like you said it takes forever and honestly not even worth it. after about the third issue i deleted the app and never will use it again. my sister in law has a shop on there and says it’s expensive to even sell anything on there it’s not even worth it.

I think you are completely in the right and the seller should have bent over backwards to put the order together 'correctly' the second time. I have a shop on Etsy, but I've been a customer for far longer. I don't like the complaints process one bit. I don't feel it's customers friendly and takes far to long to have any issues dealt with if the seller isn't helpful. As a seller l haven't been in a situation like this but my policy would be a full refund; then from that point l would ask about reordering etc. I think sellers know this is the right thing to do, but they don't want to loose money from any sale so don't offer a refund. It's not good business and people just won't return. I bet as customers your seller would expect a full refund. I'm sorry you experienced this as you planned your special trip, it's stressful and unpleasant. I know it won't spoil your holiday though!! 💗💕

Wow can't believe you had such a bad experience with the shirts. She should have refunded you for the shirts...it's her fault if she lost money on them. If you are selling things like this that are for huge trips to disney...you want to be more careful because this can ruin a familys plans. I understand mistakes happen but 2x in a row the shirts were wrong. I'd get my money back or at least a full refund for the messed up shirt. Lol hope that dont sound mean...but i would be so dissaponted if i was in this situation.

As a small shop owner all of that is definitely unacceptable. If I gave a customer the completely wrong product I’d just send them the correct product free of charge. For future reference the Facebook group “Brand Reppin” (it has about 6,850 members) is a great resource to find reliable shops and also get rep codes. You just post what you are looking for and everyone gives you links and discount codes ☺️ So in a pinch like that you could demand a refund on the shirts, go to the group and ask who could have the shirts done in x amount of time. I’d also leave a low rating review to warn other customers. I get shit happens but... come on. 5-6 weeks? No communication? Not okay. Sorry your experience wasn’t good! I don’t like Etsy as a seller, but as a customer you run that risk with any business really. Don’t let one bad experience let you stop shopping small ❤️
