The information about walking distances in resorts and lack of elevators is really useful. I have a disability, but I don't need a wheelchair. However, walking that far isn't feasible and stairs are too much for me. Much appreciated.

A friend set us up with their DVC points and we were near the hospitality house. The one bedroom room was bigger than my first apartment! The internal bus system would be our only complaint about Old Key West if we had to stay toward the back of the property. Absolutely loved that property. Nothing else has really compared.

My daughter, son in law, 4 yr old grandson, and 2 yr old granddaughter are in the talking phase of their first Disney World trip. I've told them many times, "please watch Jessica and Tyler's videos and talk to someone at People Mover Travel. It's a hard sell I'm delivering! 😉 I also forward videos to my daughter. 😊

Skinks are a completely different type of lizard. They are the black ones with shiny green or other bright colored markings. They are also poisonous for cats…if they eat them or their tails. 👍🏻

I will always remember that villa from Hurricane Matthew. I loved the villa even before we ended up having to stay indoors for a good amount of time. The hurricane was quite the event but Old Key West took great care of us. Highly recommend that villa if you want space!

There are 3 or 4 buildings at OKW that DO have elevators. I believe they are near the hospitality, but I don't recall the building numbers. I have a Whirlpool stove too! It has a "hidden" Mickey. As a Disney nerd, it makes me happy everyday!

We stayed in two of the 2 bed villas on a big family trip in 2018, we loved the resort so much I have it booked again for January 2025. The Bath is going to be my saviour as I’m running the Dopey challenge while there. I also love that the resort is more homely than full on Disney 😊

Maybe an unpopular opinion…when we go to Disney, I like feeling like we arent “home”. My family loves the feel of being in a hotel vs an apartment. Our fav is Beach Club, club level. That club room is 🤌🏻

Like you , our family stayed in almost all of the Disney hotels, and OKW became our favorite especially as the kids became teenagers. 1BR villas for the price couldn't be beat. The resort is huge but we either had our own car or rented one while we were at Disney - I realize that car rentals are crazy expensive now. We liked getting a room by one of the quiet pools - perfect for those midday breaks from the parks.

When you heard the siren at the end of your video it reminded me when we were at Wilderness for New Year’s Eve checking into our room for the first time paramedics pushed on the bed a woman and baby by us that had just delivered the baby across the hall from us!

Now that’s a nice big spacious villa, how wonderful, love your Disney vlogs. If I win the lottery I would rent that villa for a month or 2, that’s the only way I could afford it.😂😂. I was in Orlando a month ago to see my grandson play college baseball. My daughter and I and my sister (she has dementia/Alzheimers) we took her for a day at Walt Disney on a day pass (I was shocked they have no senior citizen rates😢) anyhoo the price of the ticket was well worth the expense to see my sister laughing and having the best time ever. We rode almost all the rides, yup 3 grown women in kiddie rides, what a site. Best memories ever….❤❤❤. God willing we get to go next spring, it will be my grandson’s senior year so we will be back, we will take my sister to Epcot or Universal Studios.🙏🏻

I was at old key west a number of times, and it was my favorite. I also stayed at Sarasota springs, beach club and boardwalk which was really nice. At old key west I have been close to the hospitality center and have been at the other end of the place. I usually had a car so we could just drive over when we were at the end of the resort.

Stayed at Okw 4 times and everytime it had the shortest Lines coming back from the Parks. Hospitality House is a separat booking catagory. Do that next time ,you will love it

We stayed at OKW without our kids before they renovated it & didn’t love it. Got a villa the next time & it quickly rose to the top of our list. We drive in so we drive to the parks which takes the hassle of the bus transportation out of the picture which is nice. We were told it’s 150 sq ft bigger than the rooms at Saratoga.

old key west is a good place to stay when you’re not necessarily trying to get into the parks every day. years ago my brother was in an AAU Basketball Tournament at ESPN and my mom is DVC so we stayed there and it was awesome! I got to hang at the pool and Disney springs when we weren’t at games, and we didn’t even go to the parks and it was great

Did you have any issue with the car service and fitting your bags and stroller. We just used them last month and they struggled to fit our tandem double stroller (the seats come off) and three suitcases. We are a family of four with a four year old and baby. I felt bad that I didn’t specify we were going to bring a stroller. I was curious how it was going to go with your family after your wife mentioned you were going to use them in her video. They ended up taking the wheels off the stroller and it all worked out in the end, but definitely need something larger than the sedan next time.

Yes, we've had problems getting groceries. Twice. I think they don't want drivers to come to the room anymore; for security reasons. But for some reason, I will not use Garden Grocer again. Once they couldn't find our hotel at all. The second time they found the hotel but it was like HOURS later than when they were supposed to arrive. We've just had the worst luck with them. So I can understand a pizza problem.. So now we order direct with like Aldi or Walmart. It just works out better and we pick it up at the desk. We don't give out room numbers.

Very serious question, since typical glass coffee mugs don’t fit in the cup holders, do you hold them until you’re done? I will sometimes bring a glass travel tumbler so I have a place to put it, but nothing beats a good ole mug.

OKW did exceed my expectations however the biggest drawback is all the food is outside/open area besides Olivia. As everyone says, it is a laid back resort and we will stay here again!

Whoever is reading this , please rent a car for yourself and children. There’s nothing worst than 95 degrees , sticky heat , folding a stroller , wrangling 2-3 kids waiting for a bus….. then waiting for your stop …..then walking to your room. Rent a car , best investment that will make your trip more magical. I’d also rent a giant stroller when you get your resort from Orlando rentals , just bring a tiny stroller for the smallest child for the airport. Okay , have fun guys , thanks for the video! 🎉
