I just wish they had an express line on Hagrids but we can’t get everything we want 😂 We were GONE by the end of the day 😂 the flight felt like 2 hours and 20 hours at the same time 😆 Thanks for watching!! 💖💖

Me and the Mrs were DLP Infiinity Passholders at the same time as you guys and we did the exact same thing like we cancelled our AP's (well, didn't renew) and then booked a WDW trip for this year. We're going in a few weeks staying at Pop, our first ever time staying on property for us as well so we're mega excited. We've got for virgin Atlantic as we managed to get quite good deals on premium seats, also if you get an airline credit card you can collect miles and stuff on any purchases, so bit of a tip for future as that definitely helps.

@@LukeMorris11 I’m glad to know we’re not alone in not renewing out APs! I just don’t think they’re as valuable as they once were. Maybe when the rest of the expansions are completed, we’ll consider it again but for now, there’s so many other Disney parks around the world that we want to see. We are going back to DLP in January though! Oh wow! I hope you have the most amazing time, we’re considering Pop for our next WDW stay. It just depends on if that’s before or after we get married. If it’s a honeymoon type thing, we wanna do the Riviera 😂 Pop looks like such good value though. I kinda wish we booked it over Caribbean Beach! Very similar amenities and their food court is supposed to be incredible! I know so many people who love Virgin! They were just super super pricey compared to Aer Lingus for this trip but we’ll definitely look into them next time. I definitely need to play the points game because I know so many who get incredible deals through it! Thanks so much for the comment and for watching! 💫

We’ve enjoyed your stuff for a while as you seem to echo the same opinions as us, it’s nice to have some relatable people out there because you get real opinions on value and things like that, as opposed to a lot of the absolutely massive KZbinrs that no longer have to worry about penny pinching or maxing out how far your pounds go. We originally booked All Stars but about a month later we thought the upgrade (£600 total on top) would be worth it to get the skyliner access, everything else after that seemed like huge diminishing returns. We would love to stay at AK Lodge, but you dont have the skyliner so even if you dont get a savannah room you’re paying a couple of thousand more for some theming, which to me doesn’t seem worth it? Curious to see your DLP stuff, are you going as a standard guest? Would be interesting to see what you think coming from a legacy AP holder. We also saw terrible value in their current options, so much more money for literally nothing more and loads of benefits taken away? Infuriating.

@@LukeMorris11 I appreciate that! We’ll always keep it as real as we can. The Mickeys Not So Scary vlog goes up on Wednesday and we’ve got some strong opinions on that one that I think you’ll appreciate if you’ve never done it before or are deciding if it’s worth it. We worked so hard and for so long to be able to even afford this trip that we can’t just sit back and sugarcoat stuff just because it’s Disney or it’s a holiday. A lot of sacrifice has to be made for the vast majority of us to do these types of trips and even more so if you’ve got kids! We could have put a deposit down on a 2-3 bed flat with how much this trip has cost us. The Skyliner is absolutely worth it and it’s honestly surprising quick when it comes to loading. Even at the end of a busy day in Epcot or HS, they get them loaded up and sent off quite quickly. We probably wouldn’t stay at a resort without the skyliner given just how amazing it is. And also we’ve had some lovely conversations with total strangers on our journeys too and from the parks on the skyliner. Something you don’t always get on a busy bus. It was lovely. We’d love to stay at AK lodge too but the only way we’d ever consider it is if we had a Savannah view. It’s far too expensive given the lack of transport options to and from the parks. There’s not even the option of the monorail or boat like you have at the Polynesian, contemporary, even like…port Orleans has the boats to Disney springs. AK lodge seems the least valuable out of all the deluxe resorts. Yesss we’re doing Sequoia Lodge for 4 days with a couple of friends so I’m curious to see how DLP is a year on after our last trip. We’re doing it as regular guests and not ap holders. We are doing club level though but honestly we were VERY surprised at how reasonable it was compared to club level at sequoia in other months. I think Ben & I paid about £450 each for club level for 4 days including park tickets so it’s not terrible. However, I have heard sequoia are now offering the golden forest club lounge to any guest who’s willing to pay for it…which ultimately is disappointing and is taking away from that club level experience. Either way, we’re vlogging that trip so we’ll keep you posted on all of it! 💫

@@ashdoestravel I don't know if you guys ever did the character night party for AP holders back in September 2021 perhaps? I can't remember the year, covid scuffs things up so much in my mind haha. It sounds like you didn't get much value out of the MNSSHP and we felt similar with that particular party at DLP, well we've only done 2 AP parties and both of them felt very poor value for what you actually got. I appreciate what you're saying about the sacrifices and stuff to pay for it, we're in exactly the same boat, we made the conscious decision to not renew APs and we haven't been anywhere on holiday at all simply to pay for the holiday and save up spending money. We booked our trip last April when the same deal as yours went up and opted to pay over time with Disney which is fantastic being able to slowly chip away at it. But yeah we've not had Disney for close to 2 years by the time we go to Florida. We've been once before in 2019 and we did the Christmas party which we weren't amazed with for the price. We're doing the new Jollywood Nights at HS though and we've got some dapper theming planned for it as well, we're so excited for that.
