The Clone Wars will always hold a very special place in my heart. Probably my favorite show of all time, animated or otherwise. I remember watching this show with my little sister back in 2008, she being a 6 year old and I a 15 year old. My little sister was a big fan of Ahsoka where I was far more interested in Anakin, but fast forward a few seasons, and Ahsoka became my favorite SW character of all time. Thank you Dave Filoni, George Lucas, and the very talented cast and crew for giving us such an incredible story. I'll never lose my love for The Clone Wars!

Dave Filoni and the Lucasfilm animated crew created an absolute masterpiece. Kevin Kiner too - he did an outstanding job composing for TCW and Rebels, coming up with some stunning pieces such as 'It's Over Now". This time though, the man truly outdid himself. I mean, the whole music that played during the Siege of Mandalore HOLY! Talk about ominous. It helped build up an appropriate tension to such an extent, I constantly felt a sense of dread. He just gets it, just like Dave (I am sure the collaboration between them is crucial here) - the blade runner vibe music mixed in with classical star wars themes was such a perfect mix that FIT perfectly. That last scene of the last episode... the music did it for me. I remember watching the Clone Wars for the very first time (the movie) back when it came out, before the actual series. So many people disliked it and sure, some things about it were not perfect but what is. That scene with Anakin though: "It is the will of the force that you're by my side...". This is the first time that I took notice of Ahsoka's theme and it was so hauntingly beautiful, I was really optimistic and hopeful of the things to come, partly because of the music that accompanied the dialogue

Whereas both Lord & Miller, Howard, Edwards and Gilroy had the impossible task of delivering engaging films from little more than tidbits of lore. -- its not that I think Abrams or Johnson didn't care. They had the entire saga mapped out before them and didn't feel obligated towards any of the plethora of tracks audiences were riding on. Audiences that had long since given up ever seeing a conclusion to the Skywalker saga. I think, the two biggest questions on most viewers minds were "Why the Skywalkers?" and after Mortis & Yoda's journey, in TCW "What is the true nature of the Force?" -- Neither were approached for the core saga sequels. The saga just suddenly turned into a tale of usurpers; avoided all the insight born of apotheosis, and was far too academic to maintain narrative form. Not surprised audiences were baffled / debunked. -- it wasn't the saga that they broke (in the end); it was the audience they broke from a tale they'd been hanging onto. -- and as Tolkien had said it best, through Gandalf, "He whom breaks a thing to find out what it is; has left the path of wisdom". -- In this case, its 'the audiences connection to the story' and I don't think that was the intention. That said, others most likely felt the same way; and instead found something 'other' to follow. -- I feel like.. if you truly appreciated Lucas's saga? Then you would be careful not to unnecessarily harm the appreciation those have for what they've found in the sequels. In the end, we're all in the same boat, right? The protesting and debates got out of hand imo. Sure the easy way out would be to retcon the sequels; but its not the smart way. -- "the smart way" would be to tell the story via another route. Stories are never linear, the teller chooses what path to take. Having listened to the panel above, I'm quite sure Lucasfilm have it well in hand. Many hands, in point of fact. Of many intelligent people.

I just turned 24 a few days ago, so that means that The Clone Wars and Rebels by association has officially been with me half my life. I remember back when the episodes were first airing, I would get in my bath robe and grab my lightsaber toy and play around during the commercials. Then I grew up, and really, so did the show grow with me, as it became much darker and more adult. Every time a season finished airing, my mom would make a special day out of taking me to Best Buy to get the collection on DVD, and usually some figures along with it, of Rex, of Anakin, of Obi-Wan, Ahsoka, Ventress, etc. Eventually I grew out of wanting the standard figures and hopped on board with the Black Series figures which I still collect. Throughout all of my growing, before streaming and after The Clone Wars came to streaming, this show has truly meant the world to me. I never liked the Prequels much as a kid, I liked the battles, and I loved the clones and droids, but I always loved the adventures of the original films, but this show turned my love of Star Wars into a true, lifelong, passion. Even if this falls on deaf ears, I just want to take a moment to thank Dave Filoni, Kilian Plunkett, the entire creative cast, Ashley Eckstein, Dee Bradley Baker, Matt Lanter, James Arnold Taylor, Tom Kane, Sam Witwer, Corey Burton, Matthew Wood, Stephen Stanton, Terrence Carson, the late great Ian Abercrombie, Catherine Taber, Nika Futterman, The always talented Phil LaMarr, Anna Graves, and every other guest star and series regular that made this show the masterpiece that it is. If I recall correctly, plans for the show went up to season 8, and that includes the second halves of season 6 and 7. Many interesting arcs were planned, such as the one with Quinlan Vos and Assajj Ventress, the one that showed how Plo Koon discovered Ahsoka and even one that had Ahsoka fighting Sidious under the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. So yeah, while the show is finished on paper, there was so much more to it, and I wish we could see all those stories someday.

I'm gonna miss this show so much and this group! I'm very glad the return of the show answered all our questions (especially about how Rex and Ahsoka lived past Order 66) and how they made it the greatest finale I've ever seen. And to know this group really treats each other as family and knowing this might probably be the last time we get to see them together is making me emotional. My dad started a tradition and that tradition is that we watch once a week a movie or serie he watched back in his childhood like Robin and the 7 hoods or alho alho so series or movies that are great and timeless but aren wacht as commonly cause there old and people don’t know about them anymore and if I have children later I can tell you that it is a fact I watch this with them and keeping the tradition going by starting with this serie because when the serie started you wanted to tell the story of the clone wars in a entertaining way but you did so much more than that cause this serie are people’s childhoods And the last episode made cry because there was so much going on and so much emotion in it, it was just beautiful and knowing that this was the end of the serie was a kick in the balls afterwards And I think could say this on behalf of the entire community if I say thank you for all the thinks you have done and gave us a amazing serie that we gonna remember and have a found memory of and a special place in our heart and thank you for this beautiful serie
