Dan, why are 3 of your ideas garbage? I mean nobody liked cars 2 I mean does Disney need to make more bullshit of how nothing works? like where does the sushi come from? Why are there fences in England? How does the vehicles grab cups? How can vehicles travel In planes? And more questions I don’t have to bother asking I mean if you watch the unlucky tug or other KZbinrs raging on cars 2 you’ll see what I mean. Electric Mayhem is actually a genius retheme idea. Hollywood Studios needs more Muppets! So many people have mentioned Powerline as an idea too, so maybe wishful thinking will get Disney on board for that one.

I know it's a stretch because of costs but...The Beatles: Get Back the ride. It would tie into Get Back being on Disney+ and Disney trying to associate The Beatles with the Disney brand in their quest to own every popular property. To keep costs low, the ride will only be Beatles themed for a short time...to make way for the next big band documentary/biopic Disney is launching on Disney+.

Love these. Cars seems like the most probable. But here's two more: It would take a ton more work, but make it an indoor variation of the Incredicoaster from California Adventure. The queue area can be the area where E is agreeing to babysit Jack Jack. Plug the stationary figures into the blacklight section. A little more out there: use "Elvis-ish" 1950s music and make it "Stitch's Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride".

If they did Powerline (even though I know that's a pipe dream) I would actually ride RnRc. I have a condition that makes me motion sick and dizzy which typically dissuades me from even things like Everest, but I would pop all my nausea meds and do this even if it put me out of commission for the rest of the day. The Goofy movies are my favorite childhood movies and Max is my favorite Disney character.

Given the direction Hollywood Studios is going in, having ‘real’ people involved in these kinds of attractions just doesn’t seem to fit as well anymore (especially when stuff like, That happens that Disney has no control over). I unironically think a Goofy Movie/Powerline re-theme would be the perfect route to go although, Muppets would be a close second. Everyone knows Goofy, and a ton of people know him and Max through the movie. It’s even easier now for younger kids with Disney Plus.

Eletric Mayhem and Power Line are awesome ideas. And I'm saying this despite me being generally tired of Goofy movie due to being a Hot Topic Manager at the peak of Power Line Nostalgia. For a real band, I'd love it if Disney went nuts and got like, Bring Me The Horizon for it. Hollywood Studios is already a more adult themed park so having an edgier band like them would be sick. It'd NEVER happen, but an elder emo/goth can dream.

While Powerline or Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem seem like very likely (and awesome) options, if they had to bring a real band in I’d love for them to have My Chemical Romance. With the sales from their recent reunion tour it seems like MCR love is just as high as ever! Plus, I’ve heard so many stories of this band legitimately saving people’s lives, I feel like they’d warrant getting their own ride off that alone

If I were to redo the ride, I’d replace Aerosmith with Pearl Jam and set it at Seattle Washington State where the Grunge scene was held along with references to other bands like Mother Love Bone, Nirvana, Alice In Chains, Soundgarden, and Screaming Trees. This also includes tributes to Andrew Wood, Kurt Cobain, Layne Staley, Mike Starr, Chris Cornell, and Mark Lanegan.

The electric mayham retheme makes the most sense out of the five. And you could add concert stage at the end of the ride. With Statler and Wardorf above you as you launch, they might as well be at the end to heckle you out as well. It's way more plausible than a cars retheme, really. It would never happen, but they could resurrect an old Disney Parks IP and retheme the ride with Halyx, and make the ride a rocket through space. @Defucntland already did all the research, so you could bring them in to consult on the story. But I highly doubt that would happen, haha. That said I love the idea on doing The Muppets! We can never have enough Muppets. Someone in the comments also mentioned Phineas and Ferb, and there is a revival happening with that show this year...

It almost has to be a made up band from an IP, because rock music is basically gone from the popular charts nowadays. What counts for alternative music now is synth-pop influenced navel gazing. The band that closest fits into Aerosmith's slot from when the ride opened would be the Foo Fighters. Everyone knows them, Gen-X parents can share the music with their kids, they're still active (despite a recent death) and most importantly they actually ROCK

Okay, The Beatles Get Back dropped exclusively on Disney Plus last year. What if they did a Beatles theme? Then in the California park they can retheme Finding Nemo to Yellow Submarine, kinda harking back to when they were gonna redo it back in 2012 before it was cancelled.

Since it was originally going to be Rolling Stones related, they should get the Rolling Stones (the surviving members), or if not them maybe Ghost, The Killers, ACDC, The Police, Black Sabbath. Also I can definitely see them putting Chris Walken in the attraction if it's country bears related, I mean Walken did play the director on the Disaster ride on Universal. Also given we have Haunted Mansion Holiday, why not get Danny Elfman involved again and do Oingo Boingo?

Awesome ideas Dan! Why has Disney Not done this way before now. They're already quietly distancing themselves from the Aerosmith name to avoid royalties. maybe it's high time they use one of their own IP's, ones most audiences know and love. they already had to change the pre show once because of a problematic gesture Steven Tyler may or may not have given- finish the job. Muppets or Powerline- you've got the action figures in your toybox Disney USE THEM! Disney likes to save money, they could retheme this attraction in nothing flat and really not spend a small fortune-

The Goofy Rollercoaster needs to happen!!!! Powerline is a great transition from Aerosmith, and song works great, the theme is practically there already, plus the merch would be great for Disney's accountants! Hollywoods Studios already had a Mickey ride in the park, adding a Goofy ride seems perfect, you know cohesion and what not lol..... For some ride variability, I think the song Stand Out would work just as well as Eye to Eye. Hope Imagineers see this great idea lol

Personally I would theme it to The Gorillaz and you're in a race against time to a battle of the bands against "The Lemurz" and the villains of the ride are revealed to be none other than Liam and Noel Gallagher of Oasis. The rival band of Damon Albarn's of the Gorillaz former band, Blur. Compete with a secret soundtrack that is just "Song 2, aka Woohoo".
