This show is 100% worth it. I was blown away when I saw it in June. I remember seeing Fantasmic for the first time when I was a kid and it was even better than I rember. No one can do this kind of show like Disney and this one is the best of the best imho. I'm disabled and so, not to brag, my wife and I got some of the best seats in the house. If anyone is disabled I would recomend asking a cast member near the right side if you are facing the river and they will direct you to the disabled seating area.

When I went to Fantasmic for the 10:30PM show. It wasn’t that busy or not many people bought dining packages so they made the hungry bear area smaller and they opened up the seating area for the public. Maybe they also just let standby at the bottom idk. We got to sit down near center stage and have a great experience. (On a Sunday and also Veterans Day)

One of my favorite memories of Disneyland my wife’s and I first visit…it was our anniversary and we causally walked out from big thunder mountain and Fanstasmic was already on its final act where the princesses, and other characters are on the Mark Twain dancing and having a great time and all I hear is my wife saying “OMG Wow 🤩 🥹🥰” it was so adorable to see my wife inner child come out it made my heart flutter! That’s what Disneyland is all about!

I've noticed the hungry bear package is available a lot more! And it's cheaper too. Food isn't the best, but not bad. And you still get a great view!

@@christymcwisty2325 Do THIS and trust me. I know it's hard to be on your phone constantly, but the best method that works is constantly checking reservations. I've seen blue bayou, lamplight, and all the other popular reservation places pop in and out in a matter of minutes!

Thank you, this is super helpful! Just FYI you can choose which show you prefer with the Hungry Bear package. Reservations for 7 pm or later are for the 2nd show. 6:45 and earlier are for the 1st show. When you get the 2nd show it’s specified on the reservation.

We got the Hungry Bear package but I’m on Mousewatcher waiting for a Blue Bayou to pop up. One did already but it was gone in seconds. My husband & I just came back from our Disneyland trip yesterday!! We did the Blue Bayou dining package & were seated center-center for Fantasmic, but we were talking with another family seated in our section that said they got the Hungry Bear dining package. Not sure if maybe they got seated in our area by accident, & at the time I wasn’t sure what the difference of the dining packages were & felt kinda jipped. Then I remembered, I ate water-side at the Blue Bayou & had a filet mignon for lunch. WORTH IT!! 🙌🏻

Fantasmic can rival the fireworks in my opinion. There's something about the show that is just so amazing, the effects, actors, music, everything! The show is always something I wanna see but I always run into problems trying to see it, but this video has and will REALLY helped me! Something awesome with me and the show happened. I was with a friend and we wanted to see the show, however it was pretty close to showtime and not much space was available. I talked to a Cast Member and asked, "Where can I go to see Fantasmic?" She told me and my friend to follow her, she talked to two other CM's and I heard her say, "Anywhere I want? Ok!" She lifted the ropes into the Dining Package or Reservation area, and she said as long as I sat down I could sit there! This has happened twice to me, and I'm hoping I can keep doing it, if I'm lucky.

The dining packages for Blue Bayou and Hungry Bear sit in the same area. BB is front and center and Hungry Bear is just off to the left. My wife and I got the Hungry Bear package last week and I sat directly next to a person who got the BB package. I told him how much I paid compared to him and he was pissed as he had pay nearly 3x as much for basically the same seat. Hungry Bear is definitely the best value.

I have been a pass holder for years and I have only seen fantastic once, and that was within the first few years it opened! I just get so stressed about the crowds and uncertainty of where to wait. THANKS! Great Guide! Since Fantasmic has reopened I've watched 1st and 2nd show several times between May 31 and June 6. Best was Hungry Bear Dining Package on June 6th the 2nd show before Blue Bayou dining packing resumed. I was first in line for 2nd show and was seated adjacent to River Belle Dining Package which was sitting in Blue Bayou section. Second best location was the bridge after the 1st show and fireworks. Easy to get a spot at that time. I'll try out the Veranda next time. When Fantasmic reopened the first night Maleficent dragon did not spit out Fire! I saw Fantasmic about 6 times between 5/31 and 6/6 and every time the 2nd show Maleficent did not spit fire but usually the 1st show Maleficent did spit fire. I hope they have fixed that by now!

We have taken Adam vantage of a Fantasmic Dining package since the early 2000s. Find a good spot on the rail and send someone to get clam chowder bread bowls from Royal Street Veranda and enjoy a nice relaxing meal next to the Rivers of America while we wait.

So do I understand this correctly, you just get a lunch reservation at River Bell Terrace and when you were seated you tell the server you want to upgrade to the Fantasmic dining package, and they will do so? And then you come back later that night to the first showing with your pass that they give you? I have a reservation on September 12 at 1:00 PM at River Belle Terrace. I hope that works.

Thanks for this. I was able to get a reservation today for Blue Bayou for October 1st. I checked the app numerous time all night last night and this morning and it finally opened up at 6am this morning. The fantasmic dining for blue bayou just kept saying it couldn’t be loaded. Tried to call the reservation number and I guess it’s not available right now as it kept referring me to go online. So, I’m guessing when we go to our reservation we have at blue bayou and we just ask them for fantasmic dining package? I have an email out to Disney to confirm. We have not seen fantasmic since before covid so we are really wanting the prime viewing area. We are excited to go start our October with sone Oogie boogie bash and Disney fun. Love the channel.

We did the hungry bear package. It was great. My friend just went to Disneyland for the first time in 15 years. I was walking her through getting spots for the nighttime shows and all the things that she needed to know. She was shocked. I think Disneyland has become so complicated. People who don’t do their research will definitely be disappointed.

World Of Color there is a Virtual Queue Start at noon You Must Be In the Park (DCA) too work. This will give Blue and Red section Start Golden Zephyr red zone then blue zone up third level is for ADA people In front little Mermaid is stand- by Ok after blue section there is Dinner zone and the desert zone small area there is the stand-by area Bridge for lamp light dinning second show easy find spot

One thing Walt Disney World has going for them is they built stadium seating for Fantasmic! Now I know Disneyland doesn't have the room for that. But man it's so amazing to just walk right in & every seat in the house is a good view.

Thanks for this! Just what I needed! Fantasmic is my favourite of all time Disney shows but heck its confusing at Disneyland to see it! I've been driving my partner nuts with trying to get River Belle Premium Pacakge seating (as I don't like sitting on the floor😂😂) for a couple of weeks as our 60 day window opened... but either its not planned for it or really did sell out in seconds, still holding help but your late minute spots will be a great help to me and the way I usually do the parks! Can you stand towards the back of the dinning areas at all?
