Disneyland New Year's Eve Countdown Sleeping Beauty Castle

a live video taken in house as the clock grows closer to midnight and the fireworks show that followed. Singing "a new day" are Regina LeVert-Boardman and Rodney Douglas I'm working on trimming the video but don't want to loose the really nice pre show look. as it stands this actual performance picks up at about 4 minutes in so scrub/scrol forward if you can to get things moving along faster .

After 9/11, Disneyland ranged in 2002 welcoming the Olympic and Paralympic Year to Salt Lake City in February and March 2002. I love fireworks too!

First year using "Brand New Day", it would be used until New Year's Eve 2007 when they rang in 2008. It wasn't used when they rang in 2009, so it's safe to say that the song was retired from Disneyland in 2008.

In 2019, the castle got refurbished to look even more beautiful in time for the 65th anniversary in 2020 before it got canceled because of the pandemic by 2023 some decorations will be up for the hundredth anniversary of the company

OK with the exception of a few comments this comment section is basically a debate about if this video was recorded before or after 911 or 2001 or 2002. This video is basically recorded on December 31, 2001 entering January 1, 2002 and those dates take place after 911. it’s not that hard. it says on the Matterhorn mountain 2002 after they counted down. In fact, some videos tell you what year they were recorded in.
