Disneyland Paris Frozen Construction Update & Potential Star Wars Expansion
Since we last checked in on Disneyland Paris, there have been some big changes! First and foremost, Disney has announced that they are planning to expand Walt Disney Studios Park to include a new themed area called Arendelle. This new Frozen themed land will be including a ride based on Anna and Elsa's movie, Frozen Ever After.
We will also be looking at the potential Star Wars expansion located behind Space Mountain in the Disneyland Paris park.

If Disneyland Paris are focusing on more European stories then a Mary Poppins sensory garden, like a mini London park with a tea room with cakes etc., would be a lovely edition for all ages!

There are big rumours of a Lion King land in the studios park. I would prefer that they use one of the expansion plots to the right of frozen and build a cars land. They could take the studio tours away, and instead have a radiator springs racers, move the other cars ride to area, and have a meet and greet with a few of the cars, along with a diner resteraunt.

For me the ideal expansion of the studio park would be: right of Frozen a Beauty and the Beast area, left of Frozen a Snow White area (7 Dwarfs Mine Train), Carsland in place of Cars Road-trip, and Thanos E-Ticket in place of the motor stunt show theatre.

Excited for the new Frozen Land, but sad there’s no coaster like Hong Kong. Hopefully Avatar, and Lion King will occupy the other areas around the lake. But YES!!! The coaster in Hong King isn't that great though is it? Very short and not thrilling at all like Big Thunder is. It's a kiddie coaster with elaborate theming so I'm not sure it's that much of a miss tbh

History has proven they aren't going to spend much on these parks. With Arendelle being the biggest addition they've ever done, something like the Star Wars Speeder Bike coaster is far more realistic than Pandora, Cars Land, Galaxy's Edge... the list goes on. (I wouldn't be the slightest bit surprised to find out it's a Tron clone without all the expensive building parts.) The Lion King land for the Studios park makes sense because an African theme is more about landscaping than expensive construction projects. They do the rock thing and they are good. Rumors are it's going to revolve around a water ride, and all the Splash Mountain work in the American parks makes one wonder if they have Lion King plans for that, though I think that's probably too expensive. Ditto the rapids ride in California Adventure. There was the concept art for the Moana flume that was the original rumor for the Dino-Land replacement, which undoubtedly was going to be cheap, so that's probably what they would do here. Let's not forget that at the European D23, instead of announcing Star Wars or Lion King lands, they announced a Tangled-themed teacups ride, a "British garden" and a new entrance to Toy Story Land!!!
