Thank you for bringing Disneyland Paris to us, Jackie. I know you wish you had more time. I would not be surprised if you were hearing the theme to “Mission Impossible” in your head while trying to get into all the rides within just one day. 😃 I’m sure it had to be frustrating to encounter closed rides, but I could see that you were very happy at a lot of other aspects of the park. Bonjour, Jackie! Disneyland Paris looks so similar and yet so different too. I liked the Mickey stage show. That looked really cool! And of course the Phantom Manor. That looked awesome!!! Heard about the Phantom Manor, of course, but had never seen the inside of it. I definitely need to go there one day and of course I will cause Paris has always been somewhere I had to go visit.

The busts in Phantom Manor are in a walkthrough area, rather than on the ride. I had great fun getting two kids to walk towards each other and watch the busts from opposite directions. It blew their minds!!!

Oh dang, that's a bummer that you didn't get to see the dragon under the castle or ride Hyperspace Mountain! I can relate, we were in Shanghai DL for one day only a couple of months after it opened and I was SO bummed that the Pirates ride was down all day. I had been looking forward to it the most! Oh well, maybe I will make it back there someday and I'm sure you'll get back to DL Paris again to do the things you missed!

I went to Disneylnad Paris in 95 and I've not been back since. Its definitely alot better than it was then, even though it was still lovely then. Went on indiana jones, captain eo and space mountain when I went. These new rides look amazing. Especially ratatouille. Shame Disney studios wasn't there in 95 either. Miss out on everything 😂

So I watched this video this morning because it showed up on my YT feed and it turns out that you and I were at the park around the same time. I am glad you enjoyed it. Phantom Manor instantly became my favorite version of the HM and I love how the story of the ride actually ties into Big Thunder Mtn Railroad. Shame though that the Dragon's keep was closed because that was a really cool experience under there. Also, were you able to walk up and through Sleeping Beauty's Castle? That was pretty cool as well!

I’m impressed by how much you managed to squeeze in to your one day! I went 20 years ago with friends and had a fabulous time. I also went with my husband about 8 years ago and had an awful trip. We paid a small fortune to stay 3 nights in a Disney hotel (part of a package deal booked directly with Disney) but when we arrived it was overbooked and we’d been bumped to a (much lower grade) partner hotel 20 mins drive away. No notification, no apology and no compensation. Most of our spending money went on taxis and food (our original hotel booking included breakfast but the hotel were moved charged extra and the restaurant was pretty poor so we ended up getting breakfast in the park). All the hassle and poor customer service put me off DLP for life.
