My favorite ride of all time is the Disneyland Railroad. It feels like the most connected to Walt's vision and the history of the park. It has so much variety, and is so relaxing. You can see almost every section of the park, and the cast members who run the train are so cool and knowledgeable once you get them talking. Also, the story narration while aboard and the departure announcement, in that authoritative booming baritone, at the Main Street Station is the absolute best "...YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE... BoooOARD!"

This was so much fun to watch, Amanda! So many of the older rides you started with had the longest lines in the 1970s when I was working there. The Peter Pan was most everyone's all time favorite along with Pirates of the Carribean, Haunted Mansion, and Big Thunder Railroad. But it's so hard to have a favorite when just walking around and experiencing the feel of each land, the attractions are all rolled up to make it impossible to choose a number one. I tend to mourn the loss of the ones that are no longer with us like The Swiss Family Treehouse, Carousel of Progress, The People Mover, Fort Wilderness with life like figures of Buddy Ebsen and Fess Parker inside the fort, the amazing buckets over Fantasyland through the Matterhorn and I'm probably missing more. The flower market on Main street with the lit candles was truly magical at night with the smell of popcorn in the air, and the candle shop at the north end of the Emporium where I met Lillian Disney, those are the places I will always cherish. Sorry this got so long....

Spent three days at Disneyland couple months ago. Got in every attraction/ride except two Main Street Vehicles, one Main Street Cinema film, Sailing Ship Columbia, Mickey's House & Minnie's House. Tarzan's Tree House & Big Thunder were closed so they don't count. This was taking time to really explore Tom Sawyer Island, watch the parades & shows, listen to the Dapper Dans, etc. Didn't just run from one ride to the next. Also, enjoyed a lot of their food offerings. Used the single rider line a single time. Otherwise, did the standby for each ride. Didn't get in a ton of souvenir shopping, but that's not exactly at the top of my list. Opened & closed Disneyland each day. And, yes, exhausting would be an accurate word to describe it. But it was a good exhausting!

Hello sweet Provost family- Beautiful vlog!! I was completely overjoyed watching this from start to finish and it made my day. In Disneyland park, my must do rides to do are Indiana Jones, King Arthur Carrousel, Casey Jr. Circus Train, and Haunted Mansion. I can't tell you how much Disneyland holds a very special place in my heart. One memory I can share with you guys: when I was younger, we were eating at Goofy's Kitchen and Cruella De Vil came to our table. I was so scared at the time that I covered my eyes and didn't say one word to her. As an adult now, I'm not so scared of meeting characters now as it's second nature. One tip I've used while enjoying Disneyland was to ride Fantasyland attractions later when the little ones have gone to bed. It worked out very well for me. I will continue using that tip on my future Disneyland vacations. I can't emphasize how much you guys mean to me and your videos continue to get better every time

These are all my favorites especially the Disneyland Railroad. The dinos + Grand Canyon diorama is Walt's "kiss". I have a soft spot for Indy & Jungle Cruise as I rode them @ night during fireworks. The lines were walk ons in Nov. on a Saturday night! Never did the overlays of Space Mountain, but LOVE the sound track! Have do overlays of Haunted + small world. Thanks Amanda!

Right there with you Amanda! Harrison Ford *is* Indy. And Raiders of the Lost Ark is the most perfect film ever made. As a former Disneyland Cast Member (NO/BC Attractions), even though I worked them, Pirates is still my favorite, and Mansion is #2. I also loved the Matterhorn when they had the original ride vehicles because it was a much smoother ride. Once they brought the ride vehicles from WDW Space Mountain (two modules hooked together to double the capacity), it turned into a much more jerky trip as the ride track layout wasn't designed for those vehicles.

If you want an awesome experience on the Haunted Mansion, wait at the gates until they are about to close for the night and get in the last group of the night. Hang back a bit and let the other guests leave the stretching room; this gives you the opportunity to really experience the portrait hallway almost by yourself! And when you exit the ride, NOS will be practically deserted and you can enjoy a leisurely stroll along the Rivers of America before you exit the area headed toward Main Street. Such a great experience!

Great list! We have no objections! Honorable mention should be Tiki Room. You have to experience the Tiki Room while in Disneyland. It was one the last attraction that Walt Disney worked on and you have to go and pay respect lol

My 10 favorite attractions at Disneyland. 1) Enchanted Tiki Room: Because it always remains of the Pacific Islands which I am half Pacific Islander and White. Also it's the only attraction you can eat and drink in. Another thing is that it was one of Walt Disney's favorite. 2) Space Mountain: Because I love how it seems that you are going fast and plus I love the soundtrack. 3) Big Thunder Mountain: Love how fast this keeps going the further the train goes. Also theme of being the canyon is awesome. 4) Matterhorn Mountain: It's the only one at Disney parks and that the two sides run very differently. 5) Splash Mountain: Because of the story of Bare Bear, Bare Fox and Bare Rabbit and getting wet in summer time. 6) Jungle Cruise: Because of how real the animatronics look and the jokes. 7) Roger Rabbit Cartoon Spin: Because of cool it is to sucked into a cartoon. 8) Monorail: How smooth it runs and also a transport out of the park to Downtown Disney and hotels. 9) Pirates of the Caribbean: How cool it looks on seeing the life of a pirate. 10) Autopia: Because of how it is to rider a real running cars.

Space Mountain to me was one of my favorites before they got rid of the cookie, and yes it was a cookie not an asteroid as they say it was. (Look at an old photo or ask an old time Disney fan who is GEN X or older) Now my favorite attraction although not a ride is Main Streets Theater so I may watch one showing of Steamboat Willie. Also great for out of weather and put feet up.

The Matterhorn is an experience. The first time I rode it I was 25, and I knew what 30 would feel like a whole 5 years before I turned 30! Never again!!! I do have a tip for Smuggler's Run though! NEVER wait in line for it! Numerous times throughout the day it'll have a 15-20 minute wait, this usually means that the wait time is going to be at most 10 minutes, and you should go at that time. I've never waited longer than 10 minutes for it just following that rule, and MOST rides will never show a 0 minute time even though they are!

I love the Matterhorn but even as a kid I remember that ride hurting. Even with refurbishment that track is bumpy! Love, but ride with caution.

Big Thunder is really a must ride twice it’s fun in the day but a must ride at night. If you can go to Hyper Space Mountain, I highly recommend it. I think they should do it for the 3 months of summer. The Nightmare Before Christmas Haunted Mansion is fun, but they should leave it regular for Halloween. Indiana Jones is a must ride especially if you’re normally a WDW visitor.

We really love M&M’s Runaway Railway - it’s probably my favorite now. But Raiders and Pirates are perennial favorites. And the train makes us feel so close to Walt every time we ride it. Divergent opinion, but I *always* rope drop, and that normally means I start with a Dole Whip Float for breakfast (I have 8 buttons for the first Dole Whip Float or the first Dole Whip of the day), then I walk on to Jungle Cruise, then I go to Indy (normally still a walk-on, but if not it has a single rider line!)

Man, I must be super lucky that the first and only time I went to rope drop Rise of the Resistance it was operation as normal and we got in in about 45min maybe, maybe less. And we even got to ride it again in the evening too.

OMG....I went to Disneyland with my sweet niece who was 2 1/2 year old. And because of her platform sneakers made the height limit for Space Mountain. My sister and I tried to convince her the entire time in line that this was a dark, kinda scary roller coaster. And she insisted that she wanted to go on it. The Father and Son that were in front of us joined in on our "you don't have to ride this" ride. Fully making her aware that this was kinda scary! She insisted that she wanted to ride!! The Father and Son before my sister, niece and I (my niece rode with me). were on on the cycle before us, but were so amazing to wait for us to get off. Half way through the ride, she tole me "Auntie I want to get off now"! I hugged her as much as I could. AND...the BEST PART.....when we got off, and the Father and son who had waited for us asked her how she like it....she said...."it was okay, but I want to wait until I am bigger to go again"! MELT MY HEART!!!

my favorite attraction is peter pan but i also think a must ride is star tours another classic or when i was a little kid i loved riding the Autopia

Peter Pan, Dumbo, Snow White, Pinocchio, Mr. Roads Wild Ride, Small World, Winnie the Pooh,Jungle Cruise, Alice in Wonderland,Carousel and Buzz Lightyear. (Not in any particular order). Yes please do a DCA one!!

Yes to DCA rides video! Maybe an "attraction" video? Like I wouldn't say Tiki Room is a ride but an attraction. Shows would be hard to list since the shows change a lot.

Absolutely love Indy as well, but it for sure has not held the test of time. Lots of the effects no longer works even after the big referb; the main one being the rotating doors/walls, and the boulder room still sometimes does not work (much less frequent than before). And so many other minor effects not working (indy slamming the door scene, the ice machine simulating rumbles, the bridge shaking scene, the lava pit no longer have smoke, the skeleton scene audio is out of synced, etc.). Having said that, Indy is still my #1 ride. To a point when I'm at the park, I will run toward indy anytime the wait time drops belong 60 mins and ride it multiple times.
