Captain Phasma was so under-used in the SW sequel trilogy, especially when it was played by the marvelous Gwendoline Christie, it really was a crime. Hope Jon Favreau & Dave Filoni will bring her back in a badass yet meaningful way in future projects.

When I realized how little she was in it and how nothing was explained or shown about her character I was like uhhhhhh. When I saw E7 back in the movies, I just thought... "OK, she is silver"... but I wasn't fearing her in any way... E8 was a little better here, but still... they didn't make her really that scary and authoritative I think. I am quite sure, Gwendoline can do it, so it is more of a story problem than an actor problem. Disney, you know what to do next. Nope no agendas here Sorry Gwendoline but I don't think Jay Jay was even remotely close to being the right person. And Star Trek? Come on he destroyed it. He's an awful director and an even worse writer.

Anyone else thinking that she didn't really feel authoritive or even female at all in her few scenes? When I saw E7 back in the movies, I just thought... "ok, she is silver"... but I wasn't fearing her in any way... E8 was a little better here, but still... they didn't make her really that scary and authoritve I think. I am quite sure, Gwendoline can do it, so it is more of a story problem than an actor problem.
