I was born 1990 and grew up on these books and the show (like I'm sure a lot of you have). My friend Brad's Dad always told us to stay out of the basement when we were kids - he, nor us had ever gone down there, as it was locked up; and none of us even knew what his Dad did for a living (still don't). I can't wait for this one. After enjoying season 1 of the reboot, I'm hyped for season 2. I just need to get Disney+ downloaded on my phone before January or the day the second season starts. By the way, if anyone tries to get me to dislike the reboot, please keep in mind that I didn't grew up in the 90s, and I'm not really into the original Goosebumps tv show. I prefer the reboot better. Thinking about the second season, it may not have Wally Wood - yes, I'm saying that Wally and Mr. Wood are the same dummy - in this coming season. Maybe in season 3 if we get one? Who knows. After watching the first season, I know it's not going to follow the books for the second season, like what happened in season 1. Season 1 was all in one story separated into episodes, the first few going into different timelines. I do like the ideas for the second season having new characters.

@@jamesjenkins400 I actually did watch the original show. I just prefer the reboot over it. I never said I hadn't watched the OG version. I remember watching it when I started reading the books back in 2012 in the winter of January in sixth grade at the age of twelve. My first two Goosebumps books I've read are Night Of The Living Dummy and Night Of The Living Dummy III. After high school, I've been collecting them. I have a wish to collect all of R.L. Stine's books, including other books by other authors. Sadly, due to living in a small apartment with my mom, her boyfriend, and my twin sister, bookcases are out of the question. Thankfully my Goosebumps books, as well as my other books are neatly packed by me. If I were to live on my own, I would like to have a home where there is a room where I can have my own personal library. I actually recalled the time when my twin sister and I were kids, the Goosebumps show was on, except our mom said it was too scary for us, something we shouldn't watch. In my brain, after hearing that, I thought it meant that the books are off limits, too, after I saw the books in fifth grade. I used to be someone who doesn't like Goosebumps. When I hit sixth grade, including my twin sister, I took out two Goosebumps books like I already mentioned from the middle school library. I thought my mom would tell me that I shouldn't read them, but after showing her, she is fine with it. So, uh, yeah. I actually had watched the original show when I was around twelve years old at the same time when I started reading the books.

Wasn’t impressed with season 1’s trailer or the first season. But hey an actual good focused trailer giving an idea of what the story is while appearing to be incorporating the books chosen in a fun interconnected way? Improvement! Call me excited for season 2!

@@drudle I’m referring to the odd juxtaposition the season had - it felt like the first half of the season felt tangenty to the second half of the season of which was the real story involving Slappy - and we only got a frame of him in the final shot of the trailer lol
