We are a family who also love chocolate gravy. I had never heard of it until I met my husband. My mom is a yankee. Lol. Anyway, my husband makes it, I don’t have his recipe that was passed on to him. Great cards Kelly! So informative. I really like the idea of using the stencils to push through the initial fear of getting started. I also love the way it puts down the majority of the color (mid tones?) for the colored pencil piece because that medium takes so long to do from scratch! To me, doing it your way makes it so you get to focus on the fun part of using colored pencils (& reduces the hand fatigue). I bet your moms thoroughly enjoyed them!

This video was VERY educational!! I ended up in a rabbit hole on Google looking up chocolate gravy ~ never heard of it!🤣 I’m a Jersey girl, so I’m used to red gravy, brown gravy and white gravy…. BUT missing out on the whole chocolate gravy!! Oh….the the cards are beautiful! Learned a lot from them too!!
