That was a good video Wes. I was digging your campsite. I had forgot about the PSP, my kids had those. That was a nostalgic moment for me. Not sure if you’ve heard about them but a 2-in-1 rechargeable camping lantern and bug zapper. I think Amazon has them however I picked up mine from harbor freight and it works well. BTW, I love those night sounds especially when I camp. Stay safe brother!

The bugs remind me of a trip a couple friends and I went on. We went kayaking on a river in Arkansas and every time we’d pull over bugs would swarm us. When we were going down the river we could see the swarm of bugs behind each others heads. We slapped our face and heads to kill the bugs so much that when we got back to our tents to lay down, it felt like there were bugs. We were slapping our faces lol. We’d turned the light on and checked around. It was like when you’re on a boat all day and lay down, you’re rocking. Same thing, it was unforgettable to say the least 😄

I just got to the end of the video and saw they got in your truck 🤭 I’m excited to see your kayaking videos! I have a 10ft perception kayak. I love going down clean, clear spring fed rivers. It’s beautiful. You sort of get pushed the whole and all you gotta do is steer. Pretty fun stuff. I’m shocked you still have your PSP! That’s awesome! I forgot about those!

Too many people just don’t care about leaving a mess. You see it everywhere. Nice spot though. You have me wanting to take my Silverado crew cab out camping. May have to sleep in the back since I’m 6’3”. 😊 I like your Dutch oven. We used them camping when I was a kid.

You are definitely correct sir! It’s quite sad to see it more and more…Your crew cab would be perfect to sleep in! You are definitely tall though so the back would be the best bet!😁 I believe standard crew cabs only have a 5’5” box unless you have a long box. I’m lucky and this set up works perfectly for me! not sure if you know but your fire starter is made of magnesium. the silver part. its made to scrape off a pile then strike with the faro rod side. mostly use in wet condition

Yea those PSP were over priced. Maybe next time look into a thermal cell insect repellent or candles. Definitely a nice spot for family camping.

4:34 you need to get yourself a thermos Cell just make sure the ones that you can get the tanks for they’re just a few more dollars but the smaller ones are the expensive do some research
