I actually like that he doesn't rush the information and speaks slower. I am able to actually internalize every detail of what he is saying where in some youtube videos they speak so fast i have to continually stop and rewind the videos in order to take notes and catch what they've said. Very helpful.

Ans.1 (a) violet colour is deviated the most because it's speed is less in a medium other than air or vacuum. (b) red colour is deviated the least because it's speed is more.. Ans.2 Dispersion of light is caused because different colours of white light bend at different angles. They bend at different angles because the wavelength of different colours are different. Wavelength is directly proporotional to velocity and inversely proportional to deviation. Red light has greatest wavelength as a result its velocity is more and hence deviates less. Violet light has smallest wavelength as a result its velocity is least and deviates most. Likewise different colours deviate at different angles causing dispersion. Ans.3 1) Refraction. 2) Total internal Reflection. 3) Dispersion

1) a) Violet b) Red 2) The cause of dispersion of light is: White light is a combination of seven different colors, each with a distinct wavelength and velocity. When white light passes through a prism or another medium, it refracts or bends at different angles depending on its wavelength and velocity. Red light has the longest wavelength and the highest velocity, so it bends the least. Violet light has the shortest wavelength and the lowest velocity, so it bends the most. The other colors bend in between. 3) Formation of the rainbow: Light rays reach the drop near its highest point. There is refraction first, followed by dispersion of white light into colors of different wavelengths. Violet is the most deviated color, while red is the least deviated. Due to the complete internal reflection that hits the drop surface, each color is refracted back into the drop when it reaches the opposite side of the drop. More items

(b)red. 2.Dispersion of light occurs because of refraction and because the speed of different colours of light is Same in air but when it enters the prism refraction occurs as the medium is changing and also the speeds of different colours of light in prism are different so it split into seven colours. 3.▪︎Refraction of light. ▪︎Dispersion of light. ▪︎Total internal reflection of light.

Answer to the first question:- a.) Violet b.) Red 2.) Dispersion of light takes place when white light travels through a glass prism. Since, light bends or refracts on passing from a rarer to a denser medium so white light also bends when it passes through air to a glass prism splitting up into its constituent 7 colours (vibgyor) causing dispersion of light. 3.) Dispersion of light, total internal reflection and refraction of light

Woah! That was Amazing, I just needed this video today and it taught me soo well that my each and every concept is clear! Thank you so much. Ans1 violet colour is deviated the most Red colour is deviated the least. Ans2 dispersion of light is due to the different degrees of refraction experienced by the different colours of light the difference in extent the bending of different colours of light result in the dispersion of white light into its constituent colours as they emerge to form a prism..... Ans3 it is formed due to the dispersion of sunlight through water droplets. Water droplets acts as a small prism through which light enters refract and disappears and then gets reflacted internally which creates the rainbow in the sky.......

Ans.1- (a). Violet colour us deviated the most. (b). Red colour is deviated the least. And.2- Bending and changing of speed of light in prism causes of dispersion of light. Ans.3- A rainbow is a meteorological phenomenon that is caused by reflection, refraction and dispersion of light in water droplets resulting in a spectrum of light appearing in the sky. It takes the form of a multicoloured circular arc. Rainbows caused by sunlight always appear in the section of sky directly opposite the sun. Ex. (i). Rainfall with sunlight (ii). Waterfall with sunlight (iii). Little fogg with bright sunlight

1. A) The color with most deviation is violet, as it has lesser wavelength. B) The color with least deviation is Red, as it has high wavelength. 2. Light disperses into its component colors, as each component color of light has a different wavelength, and hence a different speed. Hence, on entering the prism, the angle of deviation increases inversely proportional to the wavelength for every color. Thus, the white light splits into seven colors. 3. Three phenomena associated with the formation of rainbow in the sky are A) Refraction B) Dispersion C)Total internal reflection
