Dispolens vs Pocketdispo (disposable camera lens battle)

Howdy yall , first of all, yes I know the camera is bouncy during my intro , it bothers me but it will be fine I promise, also in the last two clips I mess up the camera lens names, anyway , disposable camera lenses are cool! Ok thanks bye

Which disposable camera lens element do you use and do you only use that camera model?

@@traver My question was for PocketDispo because it will depend on which disposable camera they disassemble for the lens part and if they solely use that particular camera because each dispo camera has their own look and if I'll have to watch more Pocketdispo reviews to see how the look differs from each assembled lens.

I think the 2 videos at the very end, that you possibly reversed saying which lens was which. Through your whole video, the Pocket Dispo lens was brighter, clearer/sharper and that's what it looked like in the last vlog test that you said was the Dispo Lens. Cool video and thanks for making it. I was actually a little shocked that the Pocket Dispo lens had overall, to me, a lot better, sharper, clearer and brighter pics/vids than the Dispo Lens did.

Its possible I could have said the wrong one , it kept confusing me the whole time making the video. I think it depends on what look you are going for .

I think i prefer the pocket dispo better but i think I would like to see the dispo lens in more motion shots; super retro and nostalgic looking and I think it could make an awesome video : )

Doesit only work on mirrorless cameras?

No it works on non mirrorless cameras as well,you just have the buy the one for you cameras lens mount. Thanks for watching !!

I think you may be right for pocket dispo , but dispo Lens did have the ef mount.

Your DispoLens is defected (de-centered focus). I would get a replacement for that.

@@traver yeah I took a Fuji film quick snap (I would never suggest using this, it was so weird trying to get the lens.) and got the lens out and then super glued that to a 3D printed lens cap that I had just sitting around. I’ll Make a video about it soon if you wanna see 🤷‍♂️. (I had to sand the plastic to get the flange distance correct which got little pieces of black plastic on the lens so it’s kinda goofed but still gives that really cool nostalgic look!!)

@zteir that’s cool man , I love that , back in my skateboard days I used to make fisheye lenses out to pvc and peep holes . I’ll check it out when you make it !!

So back in the day of point and shoot cameras I would get a piece of pvc tubing that would slightly fit over the lens’s and then hot glued a peep hole into the center of it , It wasn’t perfect but it was cool

Im think im like dreamy and retro Dispo Lens but this lens it annoys me when it focus is off to the left. im want try it but it is hard to buy in my country because it is sold on esty and Esty not shipping to Vietnam. I think i will but Pocket Dispo for retro vibe =))) it very easy buy
