With a long winter to prepare, the Version 2.1 of our TA90 Supra was ready for action. With a new tune, 4 wider wheels and tires, an updated livery and even more carbon fiber and downforce, we made the long trip down to Austin, Texas for this year's Super Lap Battle COTA. Little did we know, this weekend would go down as one of the most memorable of our lives.

@@allglorytogod12 Thanks! It's actually a little bit everything. Luck is a factor for sure. But I was comparing the Supra to my car from last year (which did a 2.26). To me the Supra felt better balanced through the high-speed corners in sector 1, and power level is very similar to mine. And I also believed in Jackie is a quicker driver than me(especially in his own car) give me the confidence saying the Supra is capable of 2.21 to 2.22. Glad I was right tho!

For the random loss of power with no codes, my X5M when towing through hills it will occasionally do it and doesnt throw a code of any sort. My HUD will say its reducing power but not say why and gives no codes. In my case its oil temp, the moment it reaches a certain delta it just starts pulling power, gives no indication why and it stays that way till you turn it off and back on. Worst part is my temps are fine on the gauge showing 210F, I didnt figure it out till I hooked my tablet up to observe the actual temperature number and around 245F it would pull power. Just a thought for you to potentially log data while on track and narrow it down. Good driving man

I had the same issue with the supra and then guy said it my might be starving oil with the jarring of the car sorta like some McLarens do but by the time we had that theory we were off home

I love how quick the power comes on at 3K; has any one tried going variable vane turbo to keep the low end quick spool but get additional power up top? Is a turbo upgrade even allowed in your class? You guys are living the dream right there :)
