I’ve really enjoyed mocking bird in this list. It can be a flying Nethergoyf or come in as another Kaito that can fly. Since it also flies as a copy, you’re much more likely to have no blockers allowing more reliability in ninjitsuing Kaito in

You're right - it's floor is that it's a 1/1 flier for 1 blue mana. Not bad in a Kaito deck :)

Yes - I think it was a punt. I didn't have a stop set in my end step, and didn't get priority to be able to waste.

Definitely agree re: Bowmasters getting banned because people are whiney compared to power level reasons. This is one aspect about Legacy I've come to dislike, a lot of strong opinions because people want to play specific ways instead of being forced to play around metas.

Yes. I love Aluren, but I have no illusions Aluren will ever be a Legacy-viable deck. And Bowmasters is a huge reason why. There are at least 2 or 3 cards that could be banned due to power level but Bowmasters isn't one of them.

Not a fan of this list. Your previous videos sold me on Kaito being an amazing wincon/engine with great synergy with etb triggers. Playing it in a deck with nethergoyf and Murktide just feels mid. I like Kaito as a synergy card, I'm not sold on it ad a generic "good card" in a generic "good stuff" pile

I hear you. I think Kaito is at his best in a value deck, and I'm not sure he's good enough to be in a traditional UB tempo deck where everything has to be ultra mana efficient. The good news is I recorded a video with straight UB Value control and it will come up as soon as MTGO fixes their replay system. (They're undergoing a lot of server issues right now.)
